…Traugott, the latter taking over 2nd place when Walti made a small mistake. Only 4 minutes in and Dirk’s car came to a stop allowing Schaer into the lead, where he stayed, conserving his tyres until 4 minutes to the end when his car ran out of tyres completely, meaning an unscheduled stop. This allowed Walti into the lead but he too had to make an unscheduled stop before the end and this allowed Schaer back into the lead where he could take the win, ahead of a recovering Walti in 2nd and Giovanni Bonetti in 3rd. Xray are reporting from the 4th and final round of the Swiss 1/10th 200mm Nationals that took place on the first weekend of September in Aigle in the West of Switzerland. With Walti Beat having taken the National title in the previous round the battle was on for the lower places in the championship and this allowed for some exciting racing. Last weekend saw the 3rd round of the Swiss 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals run at the Lostallo track, host of next weeks European 1/8th scale Championships. Qualifying saw Mugen racer Dirk Stammler claim the pole position ahead of the Xray driver, and winner of the first 2 rounds, Beat Walti in 2nd, while 3rd spot went to another Xray, that of Traugott Schär. Xray have a report from their team driver Beat Walti on the 2nd round of the Swiss 1/10th 200mm National Championship which was held 2 weekends ago in Langenthal. Qualifying saw round 1 winner Beat Walti take the pole position with his Xray, ahead of Team Magic driver Mattia Pesenti in 2nd while 3rd fastest was Dirk Stammler racing Mugen. Our partners RC Infos have a full report on last weekends first round of the Swiss Nationals that was held in Wallisellen. Qualifying saw European ‘B’ finalist Beat Walti, driving the Xray NT1, take the pole position ahead of Mattia Pesenti racing the Team Magic car in 2nd with another Xray, that of Traugott Schär lining up in 3rd. Yesterday our partners, RC Infos, showed us some close up pictures that they had taken at the EC B’s in Roeselare, of the winning Serpent 720 of Alessio Mazzeo. Today as a follow up they have added 2 more picture sets from the same event, first off showing the Mugen MTX4 of event runner up Erik Dankel, which you can see is also pretty much standard, with only some small optional parts added such as the alu receiver box and alu servo horn.
