Top international gas racer and World Championship top qualifier Robert Pietsch will be supported by the LMI Racing Team through 2010. The German Mugen factory driver, and designer of the all new MRX-5, will use LMI Racing products, mostly their range of Blitz shells, in both the 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale classes.

Lars Hoppe, the 2006 DHI Cup winner has signed a contract with LMI Racing that will see him drive the Sakura Zero from 3-Racing this season. Also using LMI Racing parts and the electronic components from GM Racing, Lars will mainly drive 1/10 EP in the winter time, but will also do some LRP Challenge races during the summer.

LMI Racing have announced a deal with current European 200mm Champion Dirk Wischnewski. The deal will see the German company supply the Xray team driver with LMI, Team Titan & 3 Racing parts as well as the new Blitz body shells.

German company LMI Racing have released this new cleaning gum. Similar to those currently on the market, it too picks up all the dust and dirt from your car, getting at those hard to reach corners, with oil and grease also no problem for it. Sold in a 200 gram pot.

LMI Racing have announced that former Serpent designer Rene Cornella will join their team for 2010.  The deal is a positive one for both parties as they each have ties with onroad nitro chassis newcomer Edam.  Cornella signed for the Taiwanese company earlier this season as a team driver and LMI are German distributors for Edam’s 1:8 and 1:10 products.  As part of the deal the Austrian will be supplied with a range of products from LMI Racing and in addition to racing the EDAM 1:8 Razor Pro and 1:10 Spirit will race the new F1-09 1:10 Formula car from 3racing.

LMI Racing in Germany have introduced their own pit box. Similar in appearance to others currently on the market, the LMI box is made of lightweight black anodized aluminium and has a special rubberized mount for a fuel gun and space for fuel bottle, screw drivers, fuel drum and much more. Sporting a flame design on the side, along with the LMI logo, it comes completely pre assembled.

LMI Racing have agreed a deal with Christian Wurst to use their products for the 2009 season, including the new Blitz R09 body shell. The former European ‘B’ Champion, who races for Motonica, will this year compete in the West German Regional races as well as International races too, competing at the European ‘B’ Championship in Cassino, Italy as well as the World Championship in Lostalla, Switzerland.
