We showed you these new items from LRP last week when we were taken around their stand at the toy fair, but we now have more information on the Nexxt 4X and Vector Micro brushless motor. The revolutionary LRP software in the Nexxt 4X, super lightweight sensorless brushless and brushed speedo, provides sensored driveability even without hall sensors. Providing 8 power profiles for the finest adjustment to all classes and motors, this waterproof speedo sets new benchmarks in driveability and reliability. The handwound Vector Micro brushless 370 size motor is sensorless and sports a slotless design as well as featuring sintered neodymium magnets and oversized ball bearings.

LRP walked us through their new bits on their large stand and there are lots of new things on display. First up is a new line of Quantam speed controllers, these are aimed at the entry level market and are all supplied with reverse and come in 3 different versions, Super, Pro and Bullet. For cooling your LRP motor, they have released a range of aluminium plates for the rear and front of the motor, with the front versions available in 2 thicknesses for adjusting the centreline weight of your car.

Following on from yesterday’s announcement from Nosram about 2 new winds in their Storm Brushless motor range, comes the same release from sister brand LRP. The all-new Vector X11 Brushless Modified motor is now available in 3.0 & 8.5 turns for touring cars and 2wd off road racing respectively. The LRP R&D Team has put its entire experience gained from years of testing LRP brushless motors at top competition level into the development of the Vector X11 motors and they have won many national and international titles.

LRP is have released the 2008 specification of their Non RTR Shark-18 Race Monster Truck. The 08 Spec has many enhancements in detail like the impressively painted bodyshell in an all new airbrush design with metallic and chrome effect. LRP has announced the release of their own 1/8th scale buggy called the S8 BX. Similar to the Z-car from SH Engines, it features an angled engine mount, that combined with centrally mounted radio components guarantees optimum weight distribution. Due to this centred chassis layout the S8 BX is easy to handle and the cornering ability is outstanding, especially through chicanes it will amaze you! The revolutionary rear suspension design with active caster gives the car an improved shock absorbing characteristic and makes stability and agility a standard feature. The new system results in smoother and better handling even under roughest track conditions. The S8 BX is completely realised in no e-clip design.

LRP have announced the release of a number of new additions to their VTEC LiPo range, including this massive 8000mAh 7.4V pack. Also releasing a 5300mAh 7.2V pack and a 1300mAh 11.1V pack, these new packs offer extremely high capacity, an unbelievable 25C discharge rate and less weight than standard NiMH or NiCd batteries. Featuring a soft casing, each pack comes complete with power plug and a balancer port.

LRP electronic have announced the date for the 11th annual LRP Touring Car Masters, which will be held from March 28th to 30th 2008 in Eppelheim (Heidelberg/Germany). The LRP-TCM is regarded as the most competitive Touring Car race worldwide apart from the IFMAR World-Championships nowadays. 270 drivers including international topstars from Europe, the USA and Japan will make this the unofficial Indoor World’s in 2008. Past events saw World Champions David Spashett, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya, Atsushi Hara, Mark Pavidis, Matt Francis, Brian Kinwald, Jukka Steenari, Marc Rheinard, Andy Moore and Masami Hirosaka fighting for the glory.
