Rush 2 Suspension & ground clearance Categories - Piktor, Gas Off Road, Cars, Products - comments closed
Possibly in an effort to detract the doubters that their laydown type suspension allows the Rush 2 to handle ruts and jumps as well as conventional shock mountings, Piktor have released a little interactive flash movie on their site that shows how the clearance of the car relates to compression of the shock absorbers. According to the interactive animation the Rush 2 should have no problems in that department and if you dont beleive me, have a look for yourself.
View the interactive animation here (didnt seem to work in Firefox).

Piktor tease us with more pics of the Rush 2 Categories - Piktor, Gas Off Road, Cars, Products - comments closed
French manufacturer Piktor have been leaking out little bits of information about their all new 1/8th scale buggy the Rush 2. And of course we oblige by showing them, but thats because this car looks like it will be really good. Little details like the front wing, ala Tenth Technology, that make it interesting and of course the fact that they are innovating and not just settling for being just another buggy.
Why do you never see a front wing on 1/8 off road buggy? Just because the shocks are too high… On the RUSH 2 and with its very low shocks position, it is now possible. This wing will bring balance and precision in fast curves incomparable in this category.

Piktor Rush 2 - First Images Categories - Piktor, Gas Off Road, Cars, Products - comments closed
Here are the first pictures of the all new Piktor Rush 2, the French designed buggy that has been in the pipeline for quite a while now. We reported on Saturday that the car and crew had been testing in Taiwan and that it went very good, well here we have the images from that test. The car has a very unique and very low front and rear shock mounting position, a far forward mounted fuel tank and the car also uses pivot ball suspension in the front. To me it looks very nice, especially with the carbon fibre and because of the lack of large shock towers also looks very strong.

Piktor Rush 2 - Update Categories - Piktor, Gas Off Road, Cars, Products - comments closed
Buggy-Sport have an update on the Piktor Rush 2 1/8th scale buggy that we wrote about a while back. It appears that Philippe Lachat and Sebastien Leonard (Medial Pro) have just come back from a weeks testing in Taiwan and their verdict was “the car is better than expected, tests are very positive and we are very confident for the future,…”. So it all sounds good, we look forward to seeing pictures of this car and hopefully we will get them soon.
