KO Propo EX-5UR with KR-210S receiver

Ko5UR

KO Propo together will their UK distributor RC Disco have released a new version of the EX-5UR radio set which brings down the price of this high spec entry level radio to just under £100. The new price has been achieved by supplying the radio with a two channel KR-210S receiver rather than the two previously included 2.4Ghz 3 channel RX units.  As most racers never use the third channel, the new radio set does not compromise their performance as the transmitter still has the full range of adjustments & seven model memory.

Greg Hill appointed MD at RC Disco

Greg Hill appointed MD at RC Disco

New UK RC Distribution Company, RC Disco, has announced the appointment of its new Managing Director. Company founder Jason Dearden is pleased to welcome experienced racer, salesman & promoter Greg Hill (left) to take on the day to day management of this new enterprise. Jason said “Greg’s massive RC experience (both nitro & electric) plus his friendly personality is just what our customers need. I was delighted to be able to offer Greg this opportunity”. Greg had the following to say:

It’s exciting to be involved from the beginning of something like this. Xray put out some of the best product in the racing scene; their combination of quality & performance is unrivalled. Everyone knows and respects Hudy product, it’s simply the best. We are just getting a building & phones sorted; and we talking to other brands, so hopefully some more announcements soon.

RC Disco are also looking for staff to join the team, so if you are passionate about RC and have relevant experience then send in your CV to the distribution@rcdisco.com

RC DisCo seeking staff

RC DisCo seeking staff

Experienced RC entrepreneur Jason Dearden, founder of Mirage RC Enterprises, is founding a new distribution company for the UK which will take over the well respected brands of Xray and Hudy. The company will formally be known as ‘Radio Control Distribution Company Ltd.’ but will no doubt go under the much catchier name of ‘RC DisCo’. They are currently looking for “RC racing geeks that know what they are talking about, but not afraid to chip in with all kinds of jobs, from going to races at weekends, to unloading lorries, helping customers, packing orders & testing product. They need hard working jack of all trade RC guys, based very close to the old Ashby Model Car Club track (Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire).” If you are interested you can get in contact by e-mailing: distribution[at]rcdisco.com
