Wij ontvingen een rapport van het openen rond van de Turkse Ingezetenen die op het mooie spoor van Slijmbeurs vorig weekend in werking werd gesteld. De ingezetenen worden gehouden voor 3 klassen - 1/8ste, 1/10ste Nitro Reizend en 1/10ste EP dat reist en met Vrijdag open voor praktijk betekende het dat alle bestuurders overvloed van tijd hadden om hun auto's te testen. De lichten waren op de hele nacht en zo praktijk die van 9:00 am is begonnen en duurden tot 1:00 am Zaterdag ochtend. Het rasprogramma zag het zaaien en bepalende woorden op Zaterdag en Def. op Zondag. Alle drie helder en warme dagen en enig probleem waren de grote verandering in atmosferische druk toe te schrijven aan tijd, bergen enz. Dit daagde nitroracers uit om de juiste carburatormontages te vinden.

Het team Tekin heeft de versie van hun Cel van de Macht, een 3400mAh7.4V 23C LiPo pak aangekondigd. Geschikt voor gebruik in de meeste het reizen auto's en andere niet zadelpak gevormde auto's, zijn de verdere details dun, maar het wordt geleverd in een beschermend hard geval en heeft bovenkant opgezette verbindingspunten en stabilisatorhaven. UPDATE. Volgens Tekin is voorzitter Jim Campbell, dit pak reeds wettelijk GEBRUL en er zal verschillende versies en grootte die uit in de toekomst komen.

This new wheel has been designed to specifically suit rubber tires with just the right amount of flex for superior traction and durability. Also new from JACO is the release of pre mounted Nitro Shoes to their new Prism 1.5 wheel. Featuring a 1.5 degree taper, the wheel has a smaller inner edge diameter which matches the camber used on most nitro touring cars and so ensures an even depth of foam accross the surface. Ström & Christensen Nordic Champions
We received this report from last weekends battle for the Nordic Championship in 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm that took place in Hillerod, Denmark. The Nordics is a yearly competition where drivers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland meet to race for the glory of being the Nordic Champion. Saturday saw 5 qualifying rounds completed in very nice, sunny and warm weather. In the 1/8th scale class it was Shephard driver Martin Christensen (DK) who set the pace and made the TQ spot before the Kyosho trio Marcus Lindner (SE), Niklas Johansson (SE) and Roland Ström (SE). In the 1/10th 200mm class it was Martin Lissau (DK) who TQ’d followed by Helge Johannessen (NO), Martin Christensen (DK) and young Norwegian drivers Adrian Berntsen, all driving the Xray NT1.

Marco Müller wins Rd2 Swiss 1/8th Nats 
Last weekend saw the 2nd round of the Swiss 1/8th scale National Championships run in the west of the country in the town of Aigle. Qualifying saw the pole position go to Serpent racer Shasa Lackner, ahead of Novarossi team mate Marco Müller in 2nd, with Christophe Pethoud and Mattia Pesenti rounding out the top 4. At the start of the Final Shasa jumped straight into lead and started to pull away from Müller in 2nd place. Unfortunately for Lackner at the 35 minute mark he developed radio problems which caused him to crash his car, putting him out of the race. After this is was easy for Müller, who took the win ahead of Pesenti in 2nd while Andy Geisser claimed 3rd.
