Serpent have released these new 1mm thick spacers that are suitable for the optional OS2 front wheel axles on the Serpent 960’08, allowing easy adjustment of the front offset. Serpent have announced the release of this innovative new product for their S400 190mm touring car. These new wishbones have made using a new process to fuse the plastic with plates of carbon fibre, which not only produces these really cool looking parts but also helps create a stiff and strong wishbone. Another great benefit of the carbon insert is that they are less resistant to softening in really hot conditions, meaning the cars handling remains consistent at all times. Serpent have released some new items for their S400 and S960 chassis’, starting with this range of optional lower suspension brackets for fine-tuning the geometry settings on the S400. Serpent are reporting on the German Regionals for the West area at which Michael Salven was in action over the weekend. The factory Serpent driver was unstoppable around the tricky and demanding Dormagen track taking the TQ and race win along with setting a new track record with his Serpent 960′08. Serpent have a report on the opening round of the 2008 1/8th scale On road British National Championships that kicked off over the Easter weekend at the very fast Brookland Circuit in Kent. Serpent ter um relatório sobre a abertura da ronda os 2008 1/8th escala nos campeonatos nacionais rodoviários britânicos que apostaram na semana durante a Páscoa, no circuito muito rápido Brookland em Kent. Saturday’s practice saw drivers faced with a mixture of rain, hail and sunshine but on race day most drivers had the opportunity to test on a dry track but had to contend with very cold air temperatures of only 2C and later damp conditions. Sábado, motoristas prática viu confrontada com uma mistura de chuva, granizo e sol, mas a maior parte dos motoristas dia corrida teve a oportunidade de testar em uma pista seca, mas teve que lutar com ar muito frio temperaturas de 2C e só mais tarde húmido condições. Defending Champion Mark Green with his Serpent 960 took the top qualifier spot after 3 round of wet qualifying with team-mate Neil Diver second fastest. Defendendo campeão Mark Green com seu Serpent 960 teve início o qualificador local após 3 ronda de qualificação com a equipe wet-mate Neil Diver segundo mais rápido. In the A final the lead was held by 4 different drivers during the 30-minute encounter with Serpent driver Neil Diver holding it when it counted most to take victory by 10 seconds from Chris Heath in 2nd with Iain Milford in 3rd, a lap further down. The opening round of the Greek National Championship for 1:10 200mm took place over the weekend at the FRT circuit. Saturday practice saw the Serpent pairing of John Sotiropoulos and Kostas Sidiropoulos set the pace, which they would carry through to Sunday as they secured the top two placings in qualifying with Sotiropoulos taking the TQ. Sabado prática viram a Serpent emparelhamento de John Sotiropoulos e Kostas Sidiropoulos definir o ritmo, o que eles iriam levar por diante a domingo, uma vez que garantiu as duas primeiras placings na qualificação com Sotiropoulos tendo a CP. In the final Sotiropoulos capitalised on his pole starting position, opening up an early lead over the chasing pack but unfortunately 18 minutes into the race he destroyed both 2 speed gears, handing the lead to team-mate Sidiropoulos.
