Viktor Wilck sluit zich aan bij de Hartstocht van de Snelheid Categories - Speed Passion, Electric, On Road, Racing, Drivers - add a comment 
Na in de voetstappen van zijn Tamiya teampartner Jilles Groskamp, Heeft Viktor Wilck een overeenkomst ondertekend om de motoren van de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het seizoen, met een optie voor 2009 te gebruiken. Vroeger lopend met de eenheden van Orion van het Team, de Zweedse bestuurder die won Kop DHI vroeger op het jaar, gebruikte de nieuwe motoren voor het eerst bij vorige weekends Ras LRP waarin hij in 3de positie eindigde.

Jilles Groskamp zal officieel de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het het rennen seizoen vertegenwoordigen. Op het kuilgebied hier bij de 2de ronde van Veel meer gesteunde ETS, behandelt de hoogste Internationale bestuurder Tamiya die aan ons wordt bevestigd dat hij heeft goedgekeurd de Hartstocht van de Snelheid om hem van motoren voor de rest van het jaar te voorzien. Jilles heeft Hong Kong in werking gesteld slechts gemaakt tot motoren sinds het begin van het seizoen maar dat overeenkomst wordt geïnkte bij TITC in Thailand 2 weken geleden die ook de Nederlandse bestuurder de Hartstocht van de Snelheid bij Kampioenschappen de van dit jaar van de Wereld zullen zien rennen.

De Hartstocht van de snelheid heeft de 2de generatie van hun brushless motoren van de de concurrentiereeks vrijgegeven. Kenmerkend een nieuw ontwerp voor verbeterde machtsband en hogere prestaties, verbetert de nieuwe lichtgewichtontwerphulp het saldo van uw auto terwijl een beter torsieontwerp hogere efficiency geeft. De motorensport een nieuwe titanium grijze kleur en keurig, gemakkelijk te begrijpen, timingsvooruitgang decal op de motoren steunt plaat. Beschikbaar in 2.5T, 3.5T, 4.0T, 4.5T, 5.5T en 6.5T.

De Hartstocht van de snelheid heeft details van een toekomstige productlijn aangekondigd, die zij blikken zeggen die worden geplaatst om zowel gas als het elektrische rennen te hervormen R/C. Hun eerder criptic versiestaten:

What product they are announcing I dont know, but the picture above shows version 1.2 of the Wireless Power prototype, which looks like a speed controller with battery inputs that has a built 2.4Ghz system, judging by the aerial. Speed Passion will release more details every month in the lead up to its 2009 release date.

Following on from the success of their new range of brushless motors, Speed Passion have announced the release of the latest motor, the ultra sportsman brushless stock motor. A 17.5 turn “Stock” motor, the ultra sportsman meets ROAR requirements, and along with the 13.5T motor has an improved bottom power band which allows you to run better gear ratio for more top speed and longer run time. Also new from Speed Passion is the release of a high power active capacitor for the company’s GT ESC that has been specially designed for racing. This new capacitor improves braking, punch and bottom end power as well as helping provide better response in racing conditions while reducing temperatures.

Speed Passion have released 2 new competition off road brushless motors, suitable for 1/10th EP and EP truck racing, under the name Endless. The new motor can design, combined with the new rotor design, provides more consistent performance and a highly efficienct power band. These motors are available in 7.5R and 8.5R and work great with the Speed Passion Feigao brushless ESC, providing smooth power and lots of punch.

Speed Passion have been in contact to inform us about their new range of brushless stock motors. Following the success of the company’s ‘Super Sportsman’ series of brushless stock motors they have now introduced the full range of their next generation brushless stock motors called the ‘Ultra Sportsman’, that includes a 9.5/19T, 10.5T, 11.5/23T and 13.5/27T. The new Ultra Sportsman provide a longer product life cycle, super long life with consistent performance & power for at least 4 to 6 months and all motors have been designed for high performance in on and off road racing.

Speed Passion Gran Turismo & Feigao ESCs Categories - Speed Passion, Controllers, Electric, Products - comments closed 
Speed Passion were in contact to tell us about their new line of brushless speed controllers, called the Gran Turismo and Feigao. The Gran Turismo has been designed for competition touring car racing and can handle 2.5R brushless motors, or 4 turn brushed motors, and has a maximum output current of 600A. It comes with a built in green power feature that gives you consistent power delivery and longer run times, and it also allows you to adjust the brushless motor timing using its 8 built-in modes. The Feigao on the other hand is designed for use with Pro Stock on road racing, or modified off road class racing, working best with 9.5, 10.5 11.5 and 13.5R BL motors. With a maximum current of 240A, the ESC can handle up to 5.5R motors with 6 cells or a 4.5R with 5 cells. This ESC features a special racing design program that allows the user to adjust the start, punch and braking.
