STRC Axial Wraith aluminium options
STRC have produced suspension links for the Axial Wraith out of heavy duty CNC machined aluminium. Instead of going with the cheaper looking aluminium tube design, these lower and upper suspension links feature the same lightweight design as the stock plastic pieces with weight saving holes drilled out in the suspension links while preserving the same thickness as the stock plastic pieces that makes these links near indestructible. The stock plastic steering linkage on the Axial Wraith is also a weak point on this vehicle, as the stock pieces tend to be sloppy and weak in transferring the torque and power coming from the steering servo. These CNC Machined Aluminium Steering link features 7mm thick aluminium tubes for lower and upper steering links. The upper link features a slight bend that allows for all the power and torque from the servo to be transferred in a perpendicular angle to the arm of the knuckle to ensure no power is loss in the transfer. Suspension links and steering links available in Gun Metal, Black, Green and Silver.

STRC Slash 4×4 GT-8/rally cross conversion kit
We showed you first pictures of STRC’s GT-8 rally cross conversion kit for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 before and now it is here. Designed to keep the general layout of the Slash and retaining a certain ground clearance the converted truck is able to run both in the parking lot and backyard, given the correct tyre choice. Due to the lightweight design the GT-8 offers a huge weight saving compared to a converted 1/8 scale buggy as the STRC converted vehicle weights at around 2320g to 2440g depending on the battery whereas a converted buggy easily breaks the 3600g mark. The kit contains a CNC-machined aluminium HD front bumper, bumper posts, front and rear lower hinge-pin block, bumper/gearbox brace, 17mm wheel adapters and nuts, as well as a 3mm graphite upper bumper hold down plate as well as all needed screws and hardware. Additionally needed are 1/8 scale GT/Rally Cross tyres and a suitable body shell. The conversion kit is available in blue, gun metal, silver and red anodising. Also available is a graphite low profile front body mount for bodies that have a lower profile front nose. The plate drops the front body mounting height by 6mm and using Traxxas Rustler/Stampede battery hold down posts by more than 10mm.

ST Racing Concepts SC options & tool updates
ST Racing Concepts has released a complete steering bellcrank set for the HPI Blitz. Because of the type of nylon composite material used on the Blitz, while durable for suspension components, it tends to make the steering components flex under heavy load or from high-torque servos. STRC’s aluminium steering bellcrank system add great precision to the steering and take away any flex. A full set of 4 ball bearings are also included to make sure the bellcrank system operate smoothly and it is available in orange, gun metal, silver and limited edition red. STRC have also introduced a CNC machined aluminium adjustable position battery plate for the OFNA Hyper 10SC that allows owners to adjust the weight distribution of the battery side on the truck. The plate allows for 10mm, 20mm, 30mm move back towards the rear of the truck from stock battery position (In 10mm increments). Available in gun metal or limited edition silver. Finally on to tools where the CNC machined aluminium 4mm/5mm universal turnbuckle wrench is now available in anodized Black, while their popular shock shaft pliers are now available in limited edition blue. Also the CNC machined aluminum 17mm/23mm combo wrench is also now available in red and black.

STRC HPI Blitz Aluminium Option parts
ST Racing Concepts have released a massive new range of option parts for the HPI Blitz Short Course truck. All parts are made from aluminium and all are available in Gun Metal, Orange, and Silver anodizing. First are these front caster blocks, steering knuckles and rear hub carriers. The rear hub carriers features a set-screw over hinge-pin design that securely keep the hub carriers on the hinge-pins, and also keep the wear to a minimum by making the hinge-pins rotate in the arms and not in the aluminum hub carriers while also increasing the durability. Next up is a new HD front shock tower, HD rear shock tower and rear camber link plate. The heavy duty front and rear shock tower will eliminate the flex, keeping your suspension operating true to its design, while the rear camber link plate improves durability in this normally weak area on the short course truck. Also new is a front suspension brace, front and rear chassis brace and HD front bulkhead. The CNC machined front aluminum suspension brace is a great improvement over the stock piece providing much needed strength to the front suspension when used in combination with the front bulkhead. The front and rear chassis brace help strengthen the front and rear end of the chassis.
