Tamiya released information about their new touring car chassis, the TRF416, a few days ago and now, a few days late, we have it too. Tamiya have added another car to their TRF range of with the introduction of their latest kit, the TRF415 MSXX Marc Rheinard Edition 2007. Japanese firm Kawada have announced that in the middle of July they will start selling these pro belts for the Tamiya TA05, as well as for their own Sigma 2 chassis. This new white belt differs from the original which uses glass fibres for strength, by using kevlar, which not only means it is very strong and resists strectching but its also softer and therefore provides a smoother drive train for your car. In the middle of April we showed you In der Mitte April haben wir Ihnen gezeigt, CAD images of the new Tamiya TA05MS and TA05IFS chassis’ and today Tamiya showed the real cars for the first time at the Shizuoka Hobby show in Japan today. Bilder der neuen Tamiya TA05MS und TA05IFS Chassis' und heute Tamiya zeigten die realen Autos zum ersten Mal in der Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan heute. We wrote about them before saying the TA05MS is essentially a competition based TA05 with carbon chassis, racing shocks and other optionals as standard while the new TA05IFS is an all new chassis with inboard suspension to fit the Super GT300 class bodyshell.
