Team Losi have released this Lithium charge converter which allows you to run Lithium batteries for more power and longer run times without having to buy an expensive Lithium charger. This converter will allow you to charge a Lithium battery with a charger you already own, just plug a Lithium battery into the charge converter, select the cell type and confirm the number of cells, adjust the charger to the correct output, plug it into the charger and start charging. The converter allows you to use a nickel-based charger to charge Lithium-based batteries. No need to buy an expensive LiPo charger.

Team Losi have announced the upcoming release of these Arm Guards for use on the company’s 1/8th scale 8ight and 8ight-T. Mounted to the rear wishbones through use of screw and the the rear lower upright pivot pin, these polycarbonate guards protect your rear drive shafts, shocks and other moving parts in that area, from mud splashes and dry debris picked up during racing. Super lightweight they are sold in a set of 2 and will be available later this month.

Yannick Aigoin signs for Team Losi Categories - Team Losi, Gas, Off Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Losi has announced that former European Champion and Xray racer Yannick Aigoin has joined the Losi Racing Team. Yannick has been a major force in the European 1/8-scale off-road arena and has been a player at the IFMAR 1/8-Scale Off-Road World Championships for years. As of October 1st, 2007, Yannick will be using Team Losi Racing’s 8ight and 8ight-T race vehicles, tools and accessories in all competitions. To control his new rides, Yannick has turned to Spektrum for the ultimate in control, safety and reliability.

Team Losi have introduced the Xcelorin range of brushless motors and suitable speed controller for use with 1/36th scale cars. Designed with the company’s range of mini scale R/C cars in mind, the ESC features a one-touch setup button for simple ESC operation, a 6-amp power rating for impressive power delivery, gold-plated motor connectors for effective power transfer as well as linear braking functionality. Two different motors are available, the 10250kv and the 8750kv, both are ball raced for smoother operation and both are very powerful.

Team Losi have introduced 2 new additions to their merchandising lineup with the release of their Filled Hat and Skull cap. The black hat (shown above) features the Losi logo embroidered on the front, and is available in 2 sizes x-large/large and medium/small. The other new hat from Losi is this black polyester skull cap, which also features the Losi logo embroidered on the front as well as the Losi website URL on the rear and its one size fits all.

Team Losi have released some of the most popular shock oils in the Losi range all together in one convenient package. The package is sold together with 6 bottles that include 17.5, 22.5, 27.5, 32.5, 37.5 and 42.5 hardness silicone oil, with the 42.5 a new addition to the range of shock oils.

CRC Gen-X and Losi 8ight parts Categories - Team Losi, CRC, Accessories, Off Road, On Road, Products - comments closed
Calandra Racing Concepts in the US have released a number of new parts for their own line of carpet racers as well as something for off road buggies. First up the release of a carbon fiber cross brace for the Gen-X (above) which mounts to the CRC lower arms, keeping the front end strong, straight and true even with the heaviest impacts. The brace also acts as a mount for CRC’s new “Long-Arm” option, coming soon for the Pro Strut front end. Also new are a number of super strong and light titanium parts such as upper pivot balls for the Pro Strut front end, front end screws and tie rods, also for the Pro Strut front end. Finally, for the Losi 8ight and 8ight T, CRC have made some “No-Pop” steering balls that capture the link, keeping the tie rod attached to the ball even in the event of a hard impact.
