Team Orion team decal sheets Categories - Decals, Team Orion, Products - comments closed
Team Orion have announced the release of 2 new decal sheets for adorning the body on your electric or gas powered car. The large decal sheet, which is a few centimeters bigger than A4, features lots of Team Orion logos for use on a light and dark background, and what is neat about this sheet is that each logo is tagged with the correct application for the that logo. So the large ones are for a truggy/buggy or on-road wing, while the smallest fits perfectly on a Mini-Z hood or sides as well as on the nose cone of the buggy. The second smaller sheet is for gas powered cars, and specifically Wasp CRF users, and again sports a number of different logos for different coloured backgrounds and applications.

Team Orion have announced the impending release of their Graphite Edition 3200mAh 3 cell 11.1 volt hard cased LiPo pack. Three cells were used to push your vehicle to its limit, and maybe even beyond that, during testing it was too much for most slipper clutches and diffs to handle. Instantly adding 50% more power to your machine while still being able to fit into most vehicles without the need for chassis adjustment your biggest issue is finding a street big enough to handle the blistering speed.

Wins are something Team Orion takes very seriously and with its World Championship team it needs the world’s best. These new receiver packs are available in 2 configurations, the 1500mAh hump pack shown above and a 1700mAh straight version.

Chuck Berg wins the Chi-Town Shootout Categories - Team Orion, Electric, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
Team Orion are reporting on the 2008 Chi-Town Shootout that was held at the beginning of March at the Leisure Hours Raceway in Joliet, IL. Racers from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin all attended this annual event to race on the hi-traction clay track which allowed the racers to run slicks at the beginning of the day when the track was wet, then switch over to tires with a little more pin as the track started to dry out. Team Orion driver Chuck Berg was the man to beat in 2wd 19T buggy class, TQ’ing every round of qualifying to guarantee him the first spot on the grid for the main event. At the start of the tone, Berg shot off the line and after a couple laps he had stretched out a comfortable lead on the field. Chuck then went on and ran mistake free for the rest of the main winning by a considerable margin.
