Now available through Robitronic, the new line of wheel balancers from Tourex allow you identify unbalanced wheels and using the balancing putty you can rectify this problem. Eccentric tires ruin the ball bearings, hit out ball ends and make the cars difficult to control in curves and straight stretches. Available for 1:5 scale, 1:8 scale offroad and 1:10 scale. Tourex have also released their flywheel tool that enables the easy removal of the flywheel from the cone without scratches or dents.

RT Speed 2.5 mix Clutch Reckward edition
New from Tourex is this Daniel Reckward Edition of the RT Speed 2.5 Mix clutch assembly. Designed for competition drivers, the know-how gained from seven German National titles in 1/8 off-road have helped to create this product. This particular clutch won the 2010 German truggy championships in Daniel’s Mugen MBX-6T. The clutch set features one special carbon, as well as two aluminium, shoes along with 1,1mm springs, which makes for a good performing, rugged, stable and durable clutch system.

New from Tourex are these large scale versions of their X300 high grip tire. Developed for extremely hard as well as loose ground, this perfectly true tire sports stiff side walls for precise handling, while the thread offers maximum traction on throttle and on brake with very little tire wear. They come mounted on the company’s new BigScale rims with 24mm hex as well as their new specially design profiled insert.

Tourex Shock absorber, Diff & Air filter oil
Tourex have already released their new range of shock absorber, diff and air filter oil. Made from premium raw materials this oil is manufactured according to their specifications by one of the leading silicone suppliers. Due to a special heat resistant formula the performance wont be influenced by temperature changes and additionally each batch is laboratory controlled to always ensure the same performance. For easy identification the industry standard cSt gives precise information about the viscosity. The oil bottles are 50ml and come in 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 650 and 700cSt for shock absorber and in 1.000, 2.000, 3.000, 5.000, 7.000, 10.000, 15.000, 20.000, 25.000, 30.000, 35.000 and 40.000 cSt for in your differential.

Tourex X500 1/8th buggy tires
RMV Deutschland have announced that their lineup of 1/8th Tourex X500 buggy tires are now available in soft, medium and hard compounds. These new X500 tires are available unmounted and also glued on either white or yellow Tourex rims. At last month’s European Championships in Wölbling, Austria top German driver Daniel Reckward used these new tires to claim 8th spot in the final on their race debut.

Tourex X-500 buggy tires
Tourex have proved that they are serious about next weeks European Championships in Austria with the development of their new X-500 tire. Designed using the experience gained at the Warm up race held on the track back in April, the German company have created this new pattern that sports a narrow and shallow profile and are great for hard and fast dirt tracks. We will find out next week if they work as expected.

Samuele Lenzi to use Tourex tires
Vita Tuning have announced that 2-time former Italian Off road National Champion Samuele Lenzi, who recently signed to IDM, will use Tourex tires this season. The former Pro-Line driver, and current Kyosho driver will also distribute the tires in Italy through his company Sam Model.

On Tour(ex) – Tourex tyre review
In 2008 renowned RC-Car product designer Renato Vita developed a line of 1/8 scale off-road tyres that are exclusively distributed by Reckward Tuning in Germany. The heads behind RT (Reckward Tuning) are none less than Daniel and Matthias Reckward. Both kindly supplied us with the new Tourex nitro off-road tyres.
