The Hi-Speed style is the latest body shell design for the Traxxas Rustler VXL truck by JConcepts. The Illuzion Hi-Speed styling presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical outlets and coves for additional air flow for electrical cooling, while this body is also the first to include a separate rear wing with side dams that attaches to the rear of the truck bed for superior fit and finish. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and cove hood scoop combined with a durable flowing bed design are just some of the features that make the new Illuzion Hi-Speed body stand out from the rest.

Traxxas have announced that they have started shipping their all-new patent-pending Traxxas High-Current connectors which feature high current transfer with virtually zero voltage loss. The connectors sport large textured surfaces on the plug bodies for easy grip while the clever reverse-polarity protection makes them virtually impossible to plug in backwards. Shrouded wire connections eliminate the extra steps to install heat shrink tubing, while beefy, gold-plated copper terminals with large, spring-loaded contact areas ensure a perfect connection every time.
