Werks Racing have announced the release of their new B5-Pro and B6-Pro engine. They left the basic performance characteristics of the aggressive bottom and strong mid/top of the B5 and the super smooth and linear power band of the B6 in place and just made them better with these new Pro versions. By incorporating ceramic rear bearings and a lightened and epoxy filled crankshaft in the Pro versions, engines will now spool up faster providing increased acceleration and fuel economy. Black anodized crankcases not only look sharp but also provide for increased heat dissipation. A billet CNC machined rear back plate reduces weight and increases rigidity of the case assembly. A new heat insulation sleeve material improves carburetor performance and reduces the likelihood of heat saturation. Finally everything is topped off with a new, large diameter cooling head which not only improves heat dissipation but also lowers the overall CG of the engine by reducing weight by 5% over the standard B5 & B6 heads and an amazing 10% over their 2010 head design.

Following on the success of their B5 .21 engine, Werks Racing is pleased to announce the release of the new B6 .21 competition off-road engine. Specifically made for use in today’s competition level off-road buggies, the B6 utilizes a true 5 port sleeve design. The Italian made B6 engine provides a buttery smooth, super linear power band with strong mid and top end, perfect for the precise control that is required to compete at the highest levels of off-road buggy racing. Most importantly the B6 also possesses one of the most key ingredients for competition today, efficiency, providing run times amongst the best in the industry.

After months of testing and development Werks Racing have announced that they are offering pre-mounted 1/8th buggy tires which will mean the giant step of going 100% pre-mount only on their 1/8th buggy tires! Werks Racing will no longer be selling un-mounted 1/8th Buggy tires and say the reason was simple, ‘which driver in their right mind wants to glue tires?’ To offer one of the best packages in the industry the US company has taken their complete range of 1/8th buggy tires and matched them with 2 of their other recently released products. The new “white” super consistent, medium compound molded insert and the new low weight, large diameter 1/8th buggy dish wheel. These have been combined with a proven “Italian” gluing system for an inseparable glue bond. All of the components will be manufactured, assembled and glued in Italy at an attractive and affordable price.

Werks Racing have announced the release of their new and improved 1/8th scale buggy tire inserts. Keeping the same wide, slightly rounded, profile that works exceptionally well with most of today’s more popular tire designs these new inserts use a new, lighter weight, higher quality material that makes for an even more consistent insert, virtually eliminating any difference in hardness between one to the next. As an added bonus the new material is less prone to disintegrating resulting in a longer wearing insert all at the same price as the old one.

Werks Racing have announced the release of it’s new 1/8th buggy wheel design. Made with the same superior, super stiff high fibre content composite material & high quality injection molding process that was used in their previous wheels, they are now bigger. Following the trend of the Losi style large diameter buggy wheels, bigger does indeed seem to be better, so now you get the same quality, weights and ease of gluing that Werks wheels have been known for but in a larger diameter for improved handling.

Werks Racing have announced the release of it’s new 3 chamber buggy pipe system. Completely legal under the new EFRA rules and carrying the EFRA 3014 homologation number, it has been designed from the ground up to provide a strong, linear power band with the best possible fuel millage. The new 3014 pipe is made to resist dents and dings and was manufactured with material over 50% thicker than what was found in their 2013 pipe. They have also incorporated a machined brace on the stinger to minimize the likelihood of damage in what is easily the most vulnerable part of the pipe. Complete aluminium construction for the lightest possible weight and finished with a mirror polish to add a little bit of “bling” to your ride.

Werks Racing have been in contact to tell us about the introduction of theirlatest addition to it’s “Team Line” of engines and it’s first entry in the ultra competitive 1/8th on-road racing market. The TL21R7 is designed from the ground up to offer the highest possible performance by utilizing a super stiff, light weight aluminum case with advanced internal porting and exhaust port design.

Featuring cutting edge AAC piston/sleeve construction. This technology allows the piston and sleeve to expand at exactly the same rate, their by always maintaining an ideal piston/sleeve/case fit. The sleeve utilizes 7 ports, with additional machining around the boost port and cylinder skirt for precise control and direction of the incoming air/fuel mixture. A multi-port exhaust port improves exhaust scavenging and top end.

The TL21R7 utilizes a full race crankshaft design which has been optimized for maximum performance. This includes a deep turbo cut to the counter weight to improve atomization of fuel. It has been lightening and epoxy ramped to reduce mass and increase mixture flow. Double tungsten slugs in the counterweight are used for precise balancing.

A completely new carburetor design has been made for the TL21R7. The complete carb body is CNC machined from a single massive block of aluminum for optimum performance and heat dissipation. It features a 3 needle design for linear mixture control. Replaceable venturi’s further tailor the performance of the engine to your specific track conditions/size.
