The guys over at Team Novi have managed to bag some shots of the new X-60 2wd prototype truck seen testing at the Cactus Classic race last weekend. The car was sporting a custom made tub chassis and was fitted with a LiPo battery pack which is perpendicular to the chassis line as opposed to in-line mounted as seen in other cars in this class, including the prototype Das Auto war ein sportlicher custom made Wanne-Chassis und war mit einem LiPo-Akku der senkrecht auf der Gehäuse-Skala im Gegensatz zur in-line montiert wie in anderen Autos in dieser Klasse, einschließlich der Prototyp Kyosho RB5-T Kyosho RB5-T . The car was said to use the X-Factory 4 gear transmission and for this test was fitted with a JConcepts body shell. Inspired by team drivers, this great new kit installs a second, larger idler pulley on your X-Factory X-5 Squared to reduce belt skip while maintaining complete driveline freedom. Your Squared idler bar is pre-drilled and tapped with holes for the Upgrade system, so installation is easy. X-Factory have released detailed information on the sequel to the companies competitive X-5 4wd buggy platform, called the X-5 Squared. The changes are to the cars molded tub chassis which receives 15 little tweaks for extra strength and better durability and all round fine tuning while the material for the chassis has also been changed to make the overall car stiffer. X-Factory have announced that top French off road racer Antoine Rossetti has joined their team for the 2007 season. Due to drive the X-5 in this years Nationals, Antoine who finished in the top 10 at last years French Nationals, leaves Team Losi for whom he raced last year, and he seems pretty excited about the upcoming season. X-Factory have announced that they have signed US racer Frank Root to race their products. X-Factory haben angekündigt, dass sie unterzeichnet haben, US-Racer Frank root zum Rennen ihre Produkte. Already in his first race, the first round of the SRZ AZ State Championship, Frank who was driving the X-5 buggy set the fastest overall lap time of the day on his way to third position at the event. Bereits in seinem ersten Rennen, die erste Runde des SRZ AZ Bundesland Championship, Frank, war die treibende X-5 Buggy die insgesamt schnellste Rundenzeit des Tages auf seinem Weg zum dritten Platz in der Veranstaltung.

Now i normally don’t post links to product builds or reviews because i like Red RC to be more of a news source but in this case we’ll make an exception.
