Xray have announced that due to unprecedented demands on their moulding department, the originally planned composite differential for the Xray T2′008 will be delayed with no time schedule. Xray will continue to include the aluminium differential in the kit as well as offer it as a spare part.

Xray have announced some new additions to their already extensive range of silicone oils, thus allowing ultra-fine setting of shocks or differentials. For extra-fine shock setting adjustment for buggy, truggy and touring cars they have released some 550cst oile, while for extra-fine diff settings for buggy & truggy there are new 6000cst, 8000cst and 15000cst.

New for the Xray M18 range of is this graphite main driveshaft made from top-grade graphite material. A direct replacement for the standard aluminum driveshaft, it has a lighter rotating mass (55% lighter than the alu driveshaft) resulting in much quicker accleration while precision balancing gives vibration-free running. Available in 2 different versions, for the M18 and M18 Pro and seperately for the M18T and M18MT.

More new parts for the Xray XB808, with the release of these lightweight graphite front and centre plates. Both have been CNC-machined from high-grade carbon graphite, ensuring high strength while remaining lightweight. The upper plate for the centre diff mounting includes composite inserts for brake cam posts.

Some more alu parts for the XB808 with the release of this optional steering plate. CNC-machined from 3mm premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, it has been hard coated for extra durability and long life. This lightweight part is ultra-rigid and very strong and features an additional middle Ackerman setting position for even more precise and smoother Ackerman steering set-up. Precision machined with the highest tolerances using fully-automatic German CNC-machines. High-quality hard coating is done at Xray’s own in-house fully-robotic hard coating line, ensuring a perfect hard coated surface every time.

Xray T2′008 Asphalt Upper Deck set Categories - Xray, On Road, Accessories, Products - comments closed
Xray have released this graphite, asphalt-spec, front and rear upper deck set for the T2′008 touring car. CNC machined from premium grade graphite material, they have been specially designed and optimized for rubber-tire racing conditions. The narrow design provides appropriate torsion and flex, while the elongated profile reduces unwanted tweak in crashes. A new thinner 2mm top deck makes the car easier to drive because it increases overall traction and so Xray recommend using this optional top deck on low-traction tracks, mainly on asphalt but they can be also used on low-traction carpet. Suitable for the T2’008 EU edition only.
