Xray team driver Paul LeMieux has a report from last weekends 1/10th 200mm race at the 2008 Winternats in Florida. XRay Team Fahrer Paul Lemieux hat einen Bericht vom letzten Wochenende 1:10 200mm-Rennen auf dem 2008 Winternats in Florida. Held on the very unforgiving Ft Myers track, the Xray team had a successful event despite Ralph Burch starting 2nd on the grid behind pole man Paolo Morganti for Serpent. Held in der sehr unversöhnlich Ft Myers Spur, die XRay Team hatte eine gelungene Veranstaltung trotz Ralph Burch ab 2. auf dem Spielfeld hinter polig Mann Paolo Morganti für Serpent. In the end Burch managed to get ahead of Morganti and take the win by half a lap with Paul coming home in 3rd half a lap further back. Am Ende Burch gelungen, vor Morganti und nehmen Sie die gewinnen, indem eine halbe Runde mit Paul nach Hause zu kommen im 3. eine halbe Runde weiter zurück.
Things were now spread out a bit with Ralph and I running 1&2 but Paolo was not content with 3rd and made a hard charge and was reeling me in. Now with the race winding down the order was still Ralph followed by myself and Paolo running third. Paolo caught me with around 15min to go, he got into the back of me but waited for me to get back by him (very nice), but over the next few laps he made a nice pass on me to take back 2nd place. Paolo gefangen mich mit ca. 15min zu gehen, bekam er auf der Rückseite von mir, sondern wartete auf mich, um wieder von ihm (sehr nett), aber in den nächsten Runden machte er eine schöne Pass auf mich zu nehmen 2. Platz zurück. From there Ralph was on cruise control with a half lap lead over Paolo with 5min to go. Von dort Ralph wurde am Tempomat mit einer halben Runde Vorsprung vor Paolo mit 5min zu gehen. Paolo pulled away from me by a few seconds. Paolo zog weg von mir nach ein paar Sekunden.

Always with an impressively presented stand, Slovakian manufacturer Xray had their new 1/8th scale buggy on display. Immer mit einem Stand präsentiert eindrucksvoll, slowakischer Hersteller XRay hatten ihre neuen Maßstab 1:8 Buggy zu sehen. The 808 is a completely new platform, hence the completely new name and Xray have gone with a simpler car that is easier to use straight out of the box. Die 808 ist eine komplett neue Plattform, damit die völlig neuen Namen und XRay gegangen mit einem Auto, das einfacher ist einfacher zu benutzen direkt nach dem Auspacken. The car has a better base setup, new geometry and its over 100grams lighter than the previous version thanks to the use of carbon fibre in place of steel. Das Auto hat eine bessere Basis-Setup, neuer Geometrie und ihre über 100grams leichter als die vorherige Version dank der Verwendung von Kohlefaser als Nachfolger von Stahl. The big new change on the car is its use of a new steering system that goes away from the C-Hub system in favour of a zero king pin version. Der große neue Änderung auf dem Auto ist die Verwendung eines neuen Systems, dass die Lenkung geht weg von der C-Hub-System zugunsten einer Null König Pin-Version.

It was fairly easy to brainstorm about what we needed and wanted to improve and change for the new M18T. We needed to bring the platform to the new level of high-competition racing so as to meet and exceed the expectations for reliability and performance. Xray are reporting on the 2008 18th Scale Indoor Off-road Race of Champions that were held last Sunday at RC Madness in Enfield CT. XRay sind die Berichterstattung über die 2008 18. Scale Indoor Off-Road-Race of Champions, fanden am vergangenen Sonntag in RC Madness in Enfield CT. This was the third year that this warm up race for the 18th Scale Off-road Nationals was held and attendance at the race was good with approximately 80 entries. Dies war das dritte Jahr, dass dieses Warm-up Rennen für das 18. Scale Off-Road-Bürgerinnen und-Bürger fand und die Teilnahme an dem Rennen war gut mit rund 80 Einträgen. Three rounds of qualifiers were run and then the mains and it was Zack Barry that finished the qualifiers with the TQ in all three classes entered, he also won every qualifier that he ran. Drei Runden der Qualifikation wurden und anschließend den Netzstecker, und es war Barry Zack fertig, dass die Qualifikationsspiele mit dem TQ in allen drei Klassen eingegeben wurde, gewann er auch jedes Qualifier, dass er lief. Zack went on to win the A-mains in all 3 classes, winning by 2 full laps in each race. Zack ging auf, um zu gewinnen das A-Netz in allen Klassen 3 und gewann durch 2 volle Runden in jedem Rennen.

New from French company BTech RC are these lightweight titanium shafts for the Xray NT1 1/10th scale 200mm chassis. Neues aus dem Französischen Gesellschaft BTech RC handelt es sich dabei leichte Titan-Schächte für die XRay NT1 1:10 Maßstab 200mm Chassis. Available as replacements for both the 2-speed gearbox and middle pulley shafts, the new material helps reduce not only overall weight but also rotating mass. Erhältlich als Ersatz für die 2-Gang Schaltgetriebe und Mitte Riemenscheibe Wellen, das neue Material trägt zur Verringerung der nicht nur das Gesamtgewicht, sondern auch rotierende Masse. A neat feature is that the end of the shaft, where the clip goes, has been machined with a slightly smaller diameter to prevent the bearing sticking when removing the shaft. Eine nette Funktion ist, dass das Ende der Welle, wo der Clip geht, wurde bearbeitet mit einem geringfügig kleineren Durchmesser zu verhindern, dass das Lager halten, wenn die Beseitigung der Welle.

Xray have a report on their site from team driver Elliot Harper on the 4th round of the Carpet Wars series that took place at the Black Lion Centre in Gillingham, Kent. XRay haben einen Bericht über ihre Website von Team-Treiber Elliot Harper in der 4. Runde der Teppich-Wars-Reihe, fand am Schwarzen Löwen-Zentrum in Gillingham, Kent. The format was 4 qualifiers and one final and after the initial qualifier it was Elliot who was quickest, slipping back to 4th in the second and up to 3rd again after the third qualifier. Das Format wurde 4 Qualifier und eine endgültige und nach der ersten Qualifikationsrunde wurde, war Elliot schnellste, Rutschen zurück zum 4. in der zweiten und bis zu 3. wieder nach dem dritten Qualifikationsspiel. Following a few adjustments to his set up, he performed extremely well in the 4th qualifier to secure pole position in the A final. Nach ein paar Anpassungen an seinen eingerichtet, spielte er sehr gut in der 4. Qualifier für sichere Pole-Position in der A endgültig. From the start Elliott took a commanding position and pulled out a comfortable lead, finishing the race in 1st place ahead of Glenn Doman and Lee Woodhams, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Von Anfang an hat Elliott einem beherrschenden Stellung und herausgezogen einem komfortablen Vorsprung, Finishing-Rennen in der 1. Platz vor Glenn Doman und Lee Woodhams, fertig, 2. und 3..
