In this months column, Juraj talks about the development of the company’s new XB808 1/8th scale buggy, which was shown for the first time at the toy fair in Germany a few weeks ago. To improve steering and handling in bumpy conditions, I decided to use the suspension concept that has been used for ages in 1/10 electric off-road cars… the “zero kingpin” design. Para melhorar a orientação e manipulação em condições irregulares, que decidiu utilizar a suspensão conceito que tem sido utilizado para idades de 1 / 10 elétrico fora-de-estrada carros… o "zero kingpin" design. This design seems to work in the 1/8 buggy scale as well and the first prototypes were created for testing. Esta concepção parece funcionar no 1 / 8 buggy escala tão bem e foram criados os primeiros protótipos para testes. Zero kingpin suspension gives more precise steering and handling in the corners as the steering keeps the same angle no matter if the suspension is up or down, and as such when running through bumps in corner the steering will not change as much as on regular C-hub suspension used previously and the handling of the car will improve significantly. Zero kingpin suspensão dá mais precisa orientação e manipulação nos cantos como a direcção mantém o mesmo ângulo, não importa se a suspensão se para cima ou para baixo, e, como tal, quando executando através solavancos na esquina da direcção não irá mudar tanto como em regular C - Hub suspensão utilizados anteriormente e à manipulação do carro vai melhorar significativamente.

Xray have a report from Italian NT1 racer Giorgio De Felici who was attending the warm up race for the first round of the Italian 200mm Nationals Championships held at the Cassino track. Xray ter um relatório do italiano NT1 racer Giorgio De Felici que estava assistindo a aquecer corrida pela primeira rodada do Campeonato Italiano 200 milímetros Nationals realizada no Cassino pista. With around 60 drivers in attendance it was European B Champion Alessio Mazzeo driving a Serpent that took the pole position ahead of Giorgio De Felici in 2nd. Com cerca de 60 pilotos na presença foi campeão europeu B Alessio Mazzeo conduzir um Serpent que tomou a pole position à frente de Giorgio De Felici no 2o. In the final De Felici started with very large diameter tires and this caused some problems at the start, but meant he had more tires at the end of the race, and with Mazzeo sidelined early on, he could get into the lead and take the win ahead of Serpent racer Simone Peretti in 2nd and Xray racer Stefano De Rossi in 3rd. No final De Felici começou com grande diâmetro pneus e esta causou alguns problemas no início, mas entende que ele tinha mais pneus no final da corrida, e com Mazzeo marginalizado no início, ele poderia entrar na liderança e assumir a vencer À frente da Serpent racer Simone Peretti na 2 ª e Xray racer Stefano De Rossi em 3o.

Xray have a report from round 1 of the Korea On road Race Grand Prix series that was run last weekend at the Girina Raceway in Kyunggi-do, Seoul. Xray ter um relatório do round 1 da Coreia Na estrada Race série Grand Prix, que foi executado na semana passada no Girina Raceway em Kyunggi-do, Seul. Xray NT1 driver GiBon Goo showed again that he would be the racer to beat in 2008 took by taking a spectacular win in the final after starting from second on the grid. Xray NT1 condutor GiBon Goo mostrou mais uma vez que ele seria o racer a vencer em 2008 teve por tomar uma espetacular vitória no final após o início da segunda sobre a grelha. The 2nd spot went to SeYoung Oh, while in 3rd spot was another Xray racer O 2 º lugar foi para SeYoung Oh, enquanto na 3a local foi outro Xray racer

Xray have a report from Xray ter um relatório de newly signed Recém-assinado team driver Jerome Sartel on last weekends Montpellier GP. Driver equipe Jerome Sartel na última semana Montpellier GP. Coming fresh from his win in both the buggy and truggy classes at the recent Euro Indoor race, the French racer was initially struggling, partly due to the cold temperatures and lack of practice. Frescas provenientes de sua vitória em ambas as classes truggy buggy e no recente Euro Indoor corrida, o francês racer foi inicialmente lutando, em parte devido ao frio temperaturas e falta de prática. Having qualified 6th, and continuing to fine tune his car, he would start the main final from 6th after placing 4th in his semi final. A change of tires transformed the car and saw Sartel battling in 3rd behind Rodriguez and Ezazian in the early part of the race, taking the lead after 15 minutes only to have a fast charging Renaud Savoya move onto his tail. A mudança de pneus transformou o carro e viu Sartel battling em 3rd trás Rodriguez e Ezazian na parte inicial da corrida, a assumir a liderança após 15 minutos apenas para ter um rápido tarifação Renaud Savoya avançar para a sua cauda. A battle ensued but when the Mugen racer had problems, Jerome saw himself with a lap lead ahead of 2nd and could cruise home for the win, in front of Jerome Ezazian and Nico Rodriguez. Um a batalha, mas quando o Mugen racer teve problemas, Jerome viu-se com uma volta de avanço sobre o 2 º e chumbo poderia cruzeiro casa para a vitória, na frente de Jerome Ezazian e Nico Rodriguez.

Xray team driver Paul LeMieux has a report from last weekends 1/10th 200mm race at the 2008 Winternats in Florida. Xray equipe motorista Paul LeMieux tem um relatório da semana passada 1/10th 200 milímetros na corrida de 2008 Winternats na Flórida. Held on the very unforgiving Ft Myers track, the Xray team had a successful event despite Ralph Burch starting 2nd on the grid behind pole man Paolo Morganti for Serpent. Realizada no próprio imperdoável Ft Myers pista, a equipe teve um sucesso Xray evento apesar Ralph Burch partida 2o no grid por trás pólo homem Paolo Morganti para Serpent. In the end Burch managed to get ahead of Morganti and take the win by half a lap with Paul coming home in 3rd half a lap further back. No final Burch conseguiu chegar à frente de Morganti e levar a vitória por meio voltas com Paul voltar a casa em 3rd meia volta mais para trás.
Things were now spread out a bit with Ralph and I running 1&2 but Paolo was not content with 3rd and made a hard charge and was reeling me in. Now with the race winding down the order was still Ralph followed by myself and Paolo running third. As coisas estavam agora dilatou um pouco com Ralph e eu correndo 1 & 2 Paolo, mas não se contentou com o 3 º e fez uma dura cobrança e foi-me reeling pol Agora, com a raça sinuosas estabelece a ordem era ainda Ralph seguido por mim e Paolo executando terceiro. Paolo caught me with around 15min to go, he got into the back of me but waited for me to get back by him (very nice), but over the next few laps he made a nice pass on me to take back 2nd place. Paolo peguei-me para ir com cerca de 15min, ele recebeu na parte de trás de mim, mas esperou para mim voltar por ele (very nice), mas durante os próximos voltas ele fez um belo passe de mim para levar de volta 2 º lugar. From there Ralph was on cruise control with a half lap lead over Paolo with 5min to go. De lá foi Ralph controle sobre cruzeiro com meia volta conduzir durante Paolo com 5min de ir. Paolo pulled away from me by a few seconds. Paolo puxado para longe de mim por alguns segundos.

Always with an impressively presented stand, Slovakian manufacturer Xray had their new 1/8th scale buggy on display. Sempre com um impressionante apresentou stand, eslovaca fabricante Xray tiveram seus novos 1/8th escala buggy em exibição. The 808 is a completely new platform, hence the completely new name and Xray have gone with a simpler car that is easier to use straight out of the box. O 808 é uma plataforma completamente nova, e daí o nome completamente novo e Xray ter ido mais simples com um carro que é mais fácil de usar reta fora da caixa. The car has a better base setup, new geometry and its over 100grams lighter than the previous version thanks to the use of carbon fibre in place of steel. O carro tem uma melhor base de configuração, nova geometria e sua 100grams mais leve do que a versão anterior, graças à utilização de fibras de carbono em lugar de aço. The big new change on the car is its use of a new steering system that goes away from the C-Hub system in favour of a zero king pin version. A grande mudança no novo carro é a sua utilização de um novo mecanismo de direcção que vai longe do C-Hub sistema em favor de um rei pin versão zero.

Neste mês coluna, Juraj fala sobre o desenvolvimento da versão Pro do M18 caminhão.
It was fairly easy to brainstorm about what we needed and wanted to improve and change for the new M18T. Foi bastante fácil de idéias sobre o que precisávamos e quis melhorar e mudar para o novo M18T. We needed to bring the platform to the new level of high-competition racing so as to meet and exceed the expectations for reliability and performance. Precisávamos de trazer a plataforma para o novo nível de alta competição corridas, de modo a atender e superar as expectativas de confiabilidade e desempenho. The code project for the new car was set right away, to make a professional M18T and as such the name M18T PRO was set in place. O código projeto para o novo carro foi fixado imediatamente, a fazer uma M18T profissional e, como tal, o nome M18T PRO foi fixado no local. The goal was set, we just had to work out all the details. A meta foi definida, que apenas tinha de trabalhar para fora todos os detalhes.
