RCSetups.com - Losi 8ight setup sheet generator Categories - Industry, Racing - comments closed
The guys over at RCSetups.com dropped us a mail telling me about their setupsheet generating site and their latest addition to the cars available, the Team Losi 8ight. Its actually a pretty cool service, not only can you store and or share your setups you can easily input the data through a set web form and that in turn is then put into the original setupsheet and made available as a PDF to print, save, share and download. Pretty neat but they are only limited to 2 cars at the moment but im sure when the interest picks up they will begin to add other chassis’ too.

Yatabe Arena renew their off road track Categories - Industry, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
The world famous Yatabe Arena in Japan, that has played host to many major events throughout the years, has renewed their indoor off road track and now sports an updated layout and keeps its cool wall ride corner. Yatabe Arena also recently created a purpose built indoor drift circuit and with their every expanding and improving facilities must now be considered one of the premier RC venues in the world.

EFRA reschedule 1/8th buggy European Championships Categories - Gas, Industry, International, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
We mentioned yesterday that EFRA was considering moving the date of this years 1/8th scale Buggy European A Championships following a clash with the Tour de France. Well that has now been confirmed with EFRA publishing an important announcement on their site stating that this race has been moved to a date 1 week later to the 17th - 21st of July.

EFRA Euros for Off road to be re scheduled? Categories - Gas, Industry, International, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
According to a report by Philip over at Neo Buggy, the European A Championships for 1/8th scale off road, that is being held in France this summer, is to be rescheduled due to a clash with the Tour de France. The problem is “A clash with the Tour de France in the proximity of the hosting city Auxerre would create massive problems with hotels etc.”. This seems to me to be just bad planning on behalf of the organisers to have just overlooked something like this. We will learn more soon and keep you informed.

Serpent have today launched their all new website, serpent.com, which is a major upgrade from their previous site mytsn.com. Having been present online since the early days of the internet (it was the first web site i ever visited back in the early 90’s), Serpent have been a pioneer in their use of the web in presenting their products and news and this new site is simply the next step in the use of that technology.
What you see in front of you is a totally new platform complete with some neat new features, with more to come online soon such as RSS feeds, and a simple and easy to use interface. Yatabe Arenas new drift track Categories - Industry, On Road, Racing - comments closed
The Yatabe Arena, one of Japans most famous and best racing facilities has today opened is new all weather drifting circuit. This is a great facility for an immensely popular class and we will hopefully see similar dedicated facilities pop up around the world as this class continues to grow. The first drifting event in this new facility will take place in February.

Aigoins engine fetches $800 in auction Categories - Engines, Industry, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Earlier this month we mentioned that website TWF8.ws was to auction the actual RB engine that Yannick Aigoin led and nearly won this years 1/8th buggy World Championship with, well that auction has now ended and the winning bid for this great engine was $800. The engine was kindly donated by Rody Roem of RB products for this sale so all this money will be donated the UNICEF, a great gift in this season of giving.
