De bewegingen van Pavidis van het teken aan Kyosho Amerika Categories - Industry, Kyosho, Drivers - comments closed
Kyosho Amerika heeft aangekondigd dat vanaf van de Maandag 19 het Teken van November Pavidis bij hen zich als productontwerper bij hun Bos van het Meer, de faciliteit van Californië zal aansluiten. Pavidis is een twee-tijd Kampioen van de Wereld en de regerende Kampioen van de Wereld IFMAR in Off-Road 1/8, en heeft 18 jaar van R&D, productontwikkeling, en ontwerpervaring die hij aan Kyosho brengt. Tijdens zijn ambtstermijn als bestuurder van de Fabriek Kyosho, is Pavidis reeds instrumentaal in het ontwerp en het testen van bepaalde voertuigen Kyosho geweest. Het hebben van Teken op personeel zal ons een verschillend voordeel geven omdat hij op het hoogste niveau van de concurrentie in de wereld voor decennia heeft gerend. De Kolom van de röntgenstraal - Nieuwe Elektrische het Reizen Auto Categories - Industry, Xray, Products - comments closed
Het 13de voorschot in de kolom van de Röntgenstraal van de eigenaar en belangrijkste ontwerper Juraj Hudy van de Röntgenstraal is nu online. In deze maandenkolom, spreekt Juraj over het proces en de gedachten achter de ontwikkeling van de nieuwe het reizen van het bedrijf auto, T2 ′ 008.
Alvorens wij met het testen en de ontwikkeling begonnen, bouwden wij eerst zeer het eisen en moeilijke sporen bij ons intern binnenspoor. Natuurlijk deden wij het zelfde voor het openlucht testen maar niet zoals veel zoals binnen, als weer dit jaar zeer snel veranderde en als dusdanig ruilden de openluchtspoorvoorwaarden te… snel een goed recept voor het slechte testen. Bij ons binnenspoor hebben wij een speciaal milieucontrolesysteem dat voorwaarden zeer stabiel houdt, en als dusdanig konden wij van ochtend`til nacht in de zelfde spooromstandigheden lopen, waarbij objectieve resultaten worden verzekerd.

1/8ste Geannuleerde de schaalEuro van 2008 Categories - Events, Industry, Gas, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Wij hebben wat meer slecht nieuws betreffende RC rennend, na direct ontvangen halt aan het rennen van EP in Norway, and that is that the 2008 European 1/8th scale ‘A’ Championships and preceeding 1/8th scale EFRA GP, to have been held in Roeselare, Belgium have been cancelled. We received the letter from Franky Noens, 1/10th scale section chairman in EFRA and secretary of the Belgian association, saying that due to problems with noise and no immediate solution the events have been cancelled. What hasn’t been said is if they will be held somewhere else or just left off the calendar next year, we would presume that they will find another venue. Roeselare played host to this years European 1/10th scale ‘B’ Championships.

Norwegian Federation halts all EP Racing Categories - Industry, Events, Electric, Racing - comments closed 
The Norwegian Federation has taken the rather drastic measure of calling a halt to all races and training for electric powered classes following 3 charging related ‘explosions’ at a 1/10th scale National last weekend. According to the source on oOple.com, a lot of the failures have occured in the past with the IB4200 cell, however the most recent failures that prompted this ban on racing were LRP VTecs and Team Orion 4200, both IB made cells. All racing will stay suspended until January 2008, although I’m not sure what will be different from then until now, perhaps a list of approved cells?

Last weekend saw the majority of Europe’s governing bodies for R/C converge in Brussels, Belgium for the annual EFRA AGM to make rule changes and decide on the future direction of the sport. This year didn’t see many major changes to the rules with the exception of the phased introduction of better defined 3 chamber pipes to all forms of gas racing in Europe throughout 2008 as well as the introduction of an indoor 1/10 EP TC European Championships.

RC Racing - Series 2 this Wednesday Categories - Video, Industry, Racing - comments closed 
Premiering this Wednesday on Motors TV across Europe, the new series of RC Racing TV brings you the best race action from around the world and across the many RC disciplines. For this series they travel to Australia for the large scale worlds and Las Vegas for the premier indoor event, the IIC championships, but for episode 1 they start closer to home as presenter Nick Daman tries his hand at racing again, this time at the 12th scale nationals in Milton Keynes. After his exploits in 1/8th Rallycross could he be heading for another fall? (Or crash). There is also topline action as the cream of British touring car racers come together for the BRCA finals at the Cotswolds club, where they also chat to Andy Moore about his recent 12th Euros success and review the latest RC cars and trucks.

Bill Jeric is new President of Losi Categories - Industry, Team Losi, Products - comments closed
Horizon Hobby, Inc. have announced that Bill Jeric has been named President of Losi. The producers of the great RC TV show RC Racing were in contact to announce that RC Racing - Series 2, will be premiering on Motors TV on Wednesday the 7th of November at 9.30 PM (GMT). This series promises to be bigger and better than before and will once again feature their unique take on the world of RC car racing with news, reviews and interviews, plus their now famous full race coverage of premier events with the professional commentary skills of John Hindhaugh again to the fore. Presented by Nick Daman this series will take us to Las Vegas, Australia and Milton Keynes as we bring the best RC action from around the world.
