Not comparable with other cleaning gums available the Brilliant RC product is of a special, slightly harder yet extra sticky formula that keeps its consistency even under high temperatures. The putty comes in easy to use 100g flat cans and it is available now.

The new Schelle offset V2 topshaft set for the Team Associated B5M, T5M and SC5M was designed to shift the motor weight closer to car’s centre line. The set utilises a 3mm extended hard-anodised aluminium top shaft, spacer tube, and a 3mm carbon fibre motor plate spacer to shift the motor plate and slipper unit in the car. This results in more stability and symmetric turning forces. The set fits any V2 3-gear or 4-gear gearbox.

Scorpion have expanded their line of Precision Tools by the mini tools pack. Samix have a new option part for Axial’s SCX10 off-road chassis available in the form of the high clearance knuckle arm set. CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium and coming anodised in black, green, silver and gun metal colour the parts not only improve the durability but they also allow for higher steering angles and greater adjustability as the steering plate offers three different steering link positions to adjust the Ackermann effect. The knuckles can be used with the standard steering links and the bearing seat comes additionally machined after anodising for improved precision. Also included is a POM bearing adapter, again to add precision and durability with its design allowing to extract the ball bearings by using a standard wheel axle.

Inside Line Racing have just released a new carbon fibre T-plate for the Team C TC02C Evo to go alongside their growing range of option parts. The plate has been CNC-machined from a single piece of 6mm thick carbon fibre to give improved accuracy, rigidity and strength over the kit supplied plastic version. It utilises the Team C RF hanger from the TC02 rear motor car which again adds to the strength and tuneability of this new option part. All of this combined adds up to a sharper handling and stronger car.

T-Works have a new floating steering servo mount for the Xray XB4’15 buggy available. Doing away with the need to run the standard parts that connect the servo with both the chassis and the side pod the mount makes for a more equal left-to-right chassis flex as it utilises the “floating”, centre-mounted design most of today’s touring cars use. Included in the set comes an aluminium centre mount, an outer aluminium post and a sturdy carbon fibre upper plate.

New from JConcepts comes the Ruptures 2.2″ crawler tyre for vehicles such as the Axial Yeti. The extremely tacky yet versatile tyre offers a layout of individual “large islands” that react to directional and forward loading characteristics like a soft gummy candy. The long horizontal attack bars are connected with solid sidewall detail which braces the sidewall for the high impact situations. The centre “mini islands” help maintain spinning speed and at half height provide some space to sling clean during those dirtier runs. The entire top level of tread has built-in cuts and recesses which provide a sharp edge. A sidewall radial rib connected with a dual position arrow help maintain stability and help the driver squeak out of a tough situation. The carcass itself is extremely pliable which conforms to the vast majority of obstacles. Inside the carcass, the tyre features a connected “Y” loop ribbing design which blends carefully into the sidewall. The bracing supports the lower half of the tire while maintaining the upper flex characteristics. The 154mm tall tyres include a soft open cell foam insert capable of standing up the super soft compound but flexible enough for sharp terrain.

Shepherd have announced the expansion of their range of lubricants with another product, the Premium Thrust Bearing Grease. The mineral oil based, water resistant and rust inhibiting lubricant can be used under high temperatures while thanks to its good mechanical stability only a small amount of grease is needed to extend the life and reduce the wear of any thrust bearing. The lubricant comes in a handy 6g container with a sticker on the lid for easy identification.
