Corally RDX phi chick

Corally have been known to put women, wearing very little clothing, in their promotional material before, but this is just the most blatant attention whoring ever, and i love it. Using the same stripper from the DHI cup, Corally presents us with their latest and greatest car, the ‘Phi’. I don’t need to go into details about the cars specs again so i wont, you can check those out here. The car will be shown at Nürnberg this week and be available soon after.

Diggity Design CD12

Diggity Designs have released official information on their new 3D12 and CD12 as well as some nice pictures. Last week we showed you the 3D12, so in the picture above you can see the prototype CD12 (the released car will be black metal and carbon), which allows the cells to be mounted sideways whilst the 3D12 allows for centrally mounted cells.

The new rear pivot is ultra light and easy to replace when/if broken. It uses a milled nylon 6/6 block and a TC4 shock bottom ballcup together with low profile hex ball. Both versions utilize the new ballcup pivot with CRC one-piece side links and rear spring design wich makes this the hottest pivot set-up available and only found here at Diggity Designs!

Check out the images of the cars here and the full information here.

Diggity Designs 3D12

A while back we wrote about the upcoming release of the new 3D12 and the CD12 1/12th pan cars from Diggity Designs. Well the cars still wont be available to the general public for another 2 weeks but the 3D12 has been spotted on RC Tech belonging to owner Sean B. The car features an innovative rear floating system as we mentioned before and the quality of the overall kit appears to be top notch but we hope to bring you more details when the car is released.

Protoform DNA 2

Protoform have released the successor to their race winning DNA 190mm body that has done so well on carpet since it was released. The new body is designed specifically for rubber tire applications. Significant changes were made to optimize the stability and grip levels of this body because of the unique characteristics of rubber tires on carpet and paved tracks. The signature DNA look remains, but the fenders now offer more clearance for 64mm diameter tires and the aero package is more aggressive.

Asssociated TC5

The Team Associated TC5 prototype electric car has been around for a while now and has been performing quite well, and is still being developed, but it seems that the car is a step closer to being released with the latest images of the car showing the use of some production ready parts. RC Zone has some images taken at last weekends Novak US Touring car championships that show Rick Hohwarts car in detail as well as some more info on the car itself.

The major parts that carry over from previous cars are the shock bodies, VCS2, Springs, Ballcups, Tierods, Diff Hardware, Ballstuds, Body Posts. Another detail is that the new car will feature screws with 2mm metric threads. The bearings will also be all metric spec. The aluminium parts will also be anodised blue like on other Associated Factory Team cars.

Kyosho release Nascar Mini-Z

Kyosho release Nascar Mini-Z

Kyosho have announced the release of their latest range of cars in their ultra successful Mini-Z line of 1/24th scale racers. Nascar is of course immensely popular Stateside, for some reason, and Kyosho have realised that it would be a clever decision to make officially licensed cars to sell to the fans of this class of racing. As always the attention to detail and scale looks are what makes the mini-z cars stand out and these oval racers are no different.

NASCAR, the most popular racing series in the US, has teamed up with Kyosho to produce the only hobby-grade, officially licensed NASCAR RC cars available in the world. The Kyosho team visited the racing development facilities of many of the top NASCAR racing teams, and even attended NASCAR events, all in an effort to ensure that the bodies include exceptional detail that is unmatched in accuracy and scale.
