Greyscale Racing MRCG chassis

Back in July we showed you a CAD image of the Greyscale Racing MRCG project which was intended from the very beginning to create the most effective chassis to ever compete in 1/28 RC car racing as well as to be a user-friendly, versatile machine that maximizes the driver’s potential on any given track. Greyscale have now released the first images of the prototype which is based on Kyosho’s proven Mini-Z MR02 platform, and it is a completely new chassis from the ground up that combines smart engineering with specially-chosen materials to gain an edge in the budding market of 1/28 open-class competition.

Team Magic G4JS Gas Touring Car

Team Magic have released their latest version of their G4 chassis, the G4JS, which is targeted at the racer who is interested in getting into gas race racing but is conscious of his or her budget. The total cost of getting into on road gas racing can be quite frightening for many so the new G4JS is giving many the opportunity to race a championship winning chassis for minimal cost. The carbon fiber and alloy parts have been stripped from the car, but what really matters is what is still included, great suspension geometry, super low center of gravity and a unique chassis design which gives the G4 its two time European Championship winning feel.

Exotek R3 M18 Pro Conversion

Exotek Racing have released an all new design concept for the R3 this time around with the goal to use Lipo batteries in the M18. The chassis plate has been machined to make a pocket in the 2mm thick chassis to protect LiPos from being damaged from the track surface, yet still maintaining the low profile and super narrow features of their R3 chassis. For the die hard NiMh racers, the chassis still accepts 6 cells side by side and with the addition of multiple tape slots in the battery compartment you are able to position your battery exactly where you want it to adjust the cars balance. The R3 now also accepts micro servos such as the Hitec 85MG and for improved car control, the R3 continues to use its unique mono crank steering system.

Xray T2′008 Exclusive first batch

Along with announcing that the T2′008 190mm touring car is now shipping, Xray also announced that the first batch only will be supplied with aluminum externally-adjustable ball differentials. This is due to the fact that the mold for the new Composite Diffs was not finalized for mass production in time for the export of kits, and as such the first batch of kits feature this aluminum version. The US Foam-Spec edition features two alu ball differentials and the EU Rubber-Spec edition features the aluminum ball differential in rear only. Both kits include the appropriate amount of the new 3.5mm drive shaft composite blades.
