David tested the car in the Semi final warm up (10mins) and found that the changes he had done made the car feel easier to drive when driven hard, but at the start of the semi final David had electrical problems which sent the car flat out into the wall and broke the car. Possibly in an effort to detract the doubters that their laydown type suspension allows the Rush 2 to handle ruts and jumps as well as conventional shock mountings, Piktor have released a little interactive flash movie on their site that shows how the clearance of the car relates to compression of the shock absorbers. The sub 1/12th scale scene is growing fast with cars seemingly coming out every other day and Himoto are the latest manufacturer to create a mini off roader. The Asian manufacturer has jumped into the small scales early with this Mini Rattler RB1 and it looks to be a solid effort. We were a little slow off the mark with this one, mostly because it seemed a bit dull to start off, another tiny gas powered RTR that goes on all terrain blah blah blah. On Tuesday I reported about the news that Martedì ho riportato la notizia che circa Technokit was to enter the 1/8th scale buggy market. È stato quello di entrare nel mercato 1/8th scala buggy. At the time I noted that its a very flooded market and it would be bigger news if a manufacturer stated that they werent going to enter this class. Well i did a little research to follow up on that comment and was amazed to have come up with a list totalling 29 31 manufacturers (that i know of) that currently have, or are close to releasing, a 1/8th scale gas powered buggy.
