French manufacturer MAD Racing have been in touch to tell us about their latest 1/8th scale buggy for the Southern Europe specific 2wd class, called the IDEA. Based loosely on a Team Associated RC8, the car, as you would expect, doesn’t sport any front drive train and thanks to the lack of a central drive shaft the engine is now no longer in line. Basato su un team liberamente associato RC8, la macchina, come ci si aspetterebbe, non lo sport di ogni treno e in auto, grazie alla mancanza di un albero motore centrale, il motore non è più in linea. Power is driven to the rear wheels through a custom made gearbox whose casing doubles up as the cars engine mount and rear braking system for an ultra stiff construction. The British importer for HongNor, SMD, has shown details of the newly released X1CR FT BB Special Edition buggy on their website. The revolutionary rear suspension design with active caster gives the car an improved shock absorbing characteristic and makes stability and agility a standard feature. The new system results in smoother and better handling even under roughest track conditions. Back in September, we mentioned the new Torna in settembre, di cui abbiamo parlato, il nuovo Z-car buggy Z-auto buggy from engine maker SH Engines in China and recently it was announced that Greg Degani would race this car. Now the manufacturer has placed lots of images on their website of the new car and it looks good, with some neat looking features, the most notable of which is the leaned motor that places the engines weight more over the center line. New features include updated front and rear gearbox, steering block carrier, fuel tank, new bevel gears, strenghtened whishbones and the inclusion of lots of K-Factory parts as standard. Le nuove caratteristiche includono aggiornato anteriore e posteriore del cambio, sterzo blocco vettore, serbatoio di carburante, i nuovi ingranaggi conici, whishbones e rafforzare l'inclusione di lotti di K-Factory parti come standard.

GS Racing has released the first spy image of the upgraded version of the CL-1 competition buggy, called the CL-1 Advanced. With only this picture to go on, the only thing we can see thats different so far are the big bore front shock absorbers that also feature a spring tension adjustment collar.
