Sold in a pack of 4, these M4×10 screws are much lighter than the standard steel versions yet are extremely strong. Save time and charge all 3 of your most essential batteries at the same time, as well as a 7.2V Sub-C stick pack battery, with the supplied easy to use 220V wall-charger, which features LED indicators that clearly shows the charge status of the connected components. Also included in the set is two charge connectors for different types of transmitters, a charging rack for 8x AA-type batteries as well as a charge adapter to charge standard 7.2V Sub-C stick pack batteries. Team Losi have become the latest company to release a high capacity LiPo pack with the announcement that they will start selling these 5000mAh 7.4V packs. Coming supplied with what looks like a soft shrink sleeve case, in place of a hard case, it comes supplied with power cables as well as a power plug and a balancer port and has been optimised for use in 1/10th scale vehicles.

These new batteries not only provide longer run time than their predecessor but they will have been tested to ensure that they are stable and safe, and upon passing, the VR-1 cells will go on sale. Trinity has made available the same Li-Pro battery pack that powers its new NOW brushless truggy available for use in other electric vehicles like the Associated RC-18T. The Lithium Polymer technology of the Li-Pro battery pack makes for a longer running battery at a lighter weight than possible with Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. The Li-Pro battery pack comes with a Tamiya style power connector and a separate charging plug for use with balance chargers.

Team Orion are close to releasing 2 new revolutionary, self developed, competition level cells. Set to take the EP world by storm are these 4200MAh SHO, super high output, competition cells that have been specifically developed by Oscar Jansen and the company’s Chinese Engineering development team to be chemically stable, which elimates explosions and cell failure due to self discharge. These are the first cells to be actually made by Team Orion themselves and they promise to deliver great power and long run times, and as an added bonus they can be purchased as hand made packs in saddle or straight 5 or 6 cell configurations, as well as loose. Team Orion have also announced new 2/3 A type cells that use the same chemical structure as the 4200 cells and are great for powering your micro racer or configured as receiver packs that offer long run time and can easily cope with high current servos in both off road and on road cars. Both types of next generation cells will be available to buy in the next 2 weeks.
