Losi have released what they expected to be one of the more popular options for the new Mini-T. Racers get an 1100mAh NiMh battery pack that substantially increases speed and run time and a wall charger to go with it. Typical charge time for the included 1100mAh pack is about two hours and the charger can be used with a variety of other Ni-MH battery packs for micro cars and trucks.

Team Orion have released the Platinum II, a 5000mAh 7.4V LiPo pack, the latest in their already extensive line-up. The 20C cells are once more made by Kokam, and they have been mounted in a rugged impact-resistant protective case, while for further protection the pack has an integrated fuse that protects it in the event of any problems that may occur. The Platinum II features a balancer connection and is supplied with two 4mm gold connectors and a Tamiya plug mounted cable.

Etang Power, makers of the E-Power cells have been in contact, to inform us about the release of 2 new cells. The new E-Power 4500 Sub C cell has an average voltage of 1.235V, before zapping, at 30A discharging rate and an IR of 1.6-1.8, also before zapping. The company are also claiming 540 seconds runtime at 30A discharge rate. Also new from the same company are some E-Power 1600 2/3A cell and an average voltage of 1.05-1.06V.
