Amongst Losi’s new range of LiPo cells that we briefly wrote about at the end of November, was this LiPo pack for use in the company’s 1/36 Micro-T, Micro-Baja, and Micro-Desert Truck. Sold separately or with a wall charger (above), this 180mAh 7.4v 2 cell pack has been designed to fit the smallest Losi vehicles and provides plenty of power as well as long run times, coming pre-wired with the power connector.

Nosram have released this Nitro Charger Set which provides all the electric parts needed to get you going. Save time and charge all 3 of your most essential batteries at the same time, as well as a 7.2V Sub-C stick pack battery, with the supplied easy to use 220V wall-charger, which features LED indicators that clearly shows the charge status of the connected components. Also included in the set is two charge connectors for different types of transmitters, a charging rack for 8x AA-type batteries as well as a charge adapter to charge standard 7.2V Sub-C stick pack batteries. A second set with batteries (above) additionall includes 8 Nosram VTEC AA-2700mAh transmitter batteries and a VTEC 1400 mAh receiver pack.

Multiplex have announced the addition of 2 new chargers to their range with the release of the LN-6015EQU & LN-3008EQU. The LN6015EQU is a charger with built in balancer that has the ability to charge many types of cells, including LiPos up to 6 cells, with an adjustable charging current from 0.1 - 6.0A while it can also discharge your cells up to 1.0A. The charger also features a 2 line, blue backlit, LCD screen which can show the user, in real time, the voltage of each individual cell. Also new from Multiplex is the LN-3008EQU which is similar to the 6015EQU but only handles up to 3 LiPo cells and has no digital display.

Much More have released information about their new AC DC version of the Silent Charger Platinum. The Silent Charger Platinum is a state of the art microprocessor based charger/discharger system for rechargeable R/C batteries. The Silent Charger is switching type and can fully charge 1 to 14 cells of Ni-MH and Ni-Cd at a digitally adjustable ampage up to a maximum of 6 amps, using peak detection and temperature limit methods, while it can also charge up to 5 cells of Lithium batteries.

The Venom 5-8 cell Multi Charger is an all purpose charger designed to charge 5-8 cell NiCD and NiMH battery packs. With two different charge settings, 1.8 Amps for larger capacity cells/packs or 0.9 Amps for smaller capacity cells like those found in receiver and micro packs, the VMC is perfect for charging a wide variety of battery packs. Designend with simplicity in mind, just select the proper charge rate and plug in the battery. When the battery is finished charging, the LED on the charger will change from red to green.

Team Losi have released this Lithium charge converter which allows you to run Lithium batteries for more power and longer run times without having to buy an expensive Lithium charger. This converter will allow you to charge a Lithium battery with a charger you already own, just plug a Lithium battery into the charge converter, select the cell type and confirm the number of cells, adjust the charger to the correct output, plug it into the charger and start charging. The converter allows you to use a nickel-based charger to charge Lithium-based batteries. No need to buy an expensive LiPo charger.
