LRP have announced the release of these new ceramic bearings for the Vector X-11 brushless motor. Constructed using a precision made steel cage these new bearings are very druable and allow the motor to rev freer higher due to the reduced friction caused by the use of ceramic balls.

Team Luna have released this nice double Schottky diode set, with heatsink, for use on your electric motor. As with all modern electronics in high performance cars they get hot, including the Schottky diodes which are storing large amounts of power and which is drained rapidly by your motor. So Team Luna have created a solution by mounting the diodes in an aluminium heatsink, which comes in 3 colours - dark blue, light blue and red, and which keeps the temperature down.

Common Sense RC have introduced their new 1500mAh Li-Po receiver pack for nitro cars and their 2800mAh Li-Po pack for surface radios, both of which provide significantly longer run times than standard packs. While the receiver pack acts like a normal pack, but with a longer life, the transmitter pack features a built in voltage cut-off which protects the battery from over-discharge as well as an automatic charging cutoff to prevent the pack from being overcharged.

While the GTB ESCs from Novak aren’t new they have been received an update which sees the GTB and GTB Spread Spectrum racing speed controllers come with built-in LiPo Cut Off Circuitry. This circuitry monitors the vehicle’s Lithium Polymer battery pack’s voltage, and prevents the batteries from going below the critical safety voltage level of 6.25 volts.

Slapmaster, a company run by Brian Bodine who has 22 years of on road racing experience, have announced the release of the Brush Cavity Tool “Two”. If you like to use a hole in the center of a brush to further tune your motor, this might just be the easiest tool to use on the market. It will work with upright, laydown and Checkpoint brushes, and the tool comes with a 1.5mm and a 1.85mm drill bit to work with, the bits being finger operated so no power tools are required. Simply lay the brush in the slot, hold it down with your thumb, select the bit size, insert it into the hole & twist away for a perfectly centered hole in the end of your brush.

Japanese brand, Trion, have released this cooling fan and heatsink combination, suitable for all 540 type motors. With cooling becoming so necessary as battery power levels get higher this type of product becomes more and more efficient. This particular version has a motor that rotates at 10,000rpm to take away as much heat as possible while to make this system best suit you car, the fan can be mounted on 3 different positions on the lightweight aluminium heatsink. Tokyo Hobbies Optional Parts (TOP), makers of the the Scythe touring car, have announced the release of 2 new accessories to their already extensive range. First up is this spring storage box, which you can see above, which has been designed to fit up to 24 touring car springs, each in their own neat and visible foam compartment.
