RB Exhaust protect spray

Seen during our coverage of the Toy Fair in Germany last month, RB Products have now released their Exhaust protect spray. Spraying it on your exhaust system prevents dirt, such as tire foam, fuel, exhaust gas and dust, sticking to its surface so you can keep it clean longer. The dirt on the exhaust system can cause cooling problems which can lead to a decrease in performance. The spray can resist very high temperatures and also works very well on the nylon parts of the cars.

Team Orion 2656 tuned pipe

Team Orion have released their the new 2656 tuned pipe for .12 engines. It has been developed to increase power and mileage and its silver polished material and design makes it a strong and reliable racing part for Alpha and CRF engines. EFRA legal, it is supplied with manifold, rubber seals and mounting springs.

EDAM Exhausts receive EFRA homologation

Taiwanese firm EDAM, who are better known for their gas on road cars such as the soon to be released 980 1/10th scale 200mm, have been in touch to tell us that two of their mufflers have received their EFRA homologation numbers. The EFRA list of approved exhausts has just been released and the EDAM .21 exhaust system receives the 2067 EFRA number, while their .12 exhaust gets the number 2650.

Novarossi 1/10th INS Box & Pipe

For the 2009 season onwards, the 1/10th scale 200mm class requires the use of the noise reducing INS Box. As shown during our coverage of the Toy Fair in Germany last month, Novarossi have now released their IFMAR/EFRA homologated INS Box for competition. Three months in development, the new air filter has minimal effect on the engine performance yet reduces the noise to below approved levels. Also new for the coming 1/10th season, Novarossi’s new tuned pipe fully complies with EFRA regulations (2652) and has undergone extensive testing by their factory team. The new pipe offers improved low end power together with better fuel consumption and works perfectly with the 2009 353 Race engine.

OFNA JL Racing Clutch

After extensive off-road testing, OFNA their new JL Racing Clutch for 1/8 scale nitro cars. This new clutch has full shoe surface contact to the clutch bell for consistent wear and better acceleration, while the new CNC alloy material clutch shoes and lightweight flywheel improves RPM response to your drive train. The kit contains shoes, flywheel, 1.1mm springs, two clutch nuts and collect. This kit is also a great option for 1/8 GTspec cars.

Serpent have released details on their 2009 Mega engine line up, which are the result of continuous development in cooperation with Picco over the previous season to bring you some important modifications. The new line up is called DSIII and pricing on the Mega engines will remain on the very affordable level as before. New from O.S Engines, is the pro modified version of the .21 VZ-B V-Spec, which sports special enhancements for exceptional performance. Every upgrade to the engine is done by hand in the U.S. by a skilled technician, and all for the aspiring racer who wants a performance advantage over the competition running stock. The upgrades include a hand selected and matched piston and liner, a drilled out cylinder head for lighter weight and better cooling, the engine gets a ceramic rear bearing, while a special coating on the lightened crankshaft prevents wear and finally tungsten weights in the crankshaft improve balance at higher RPMs.

O’Donnell Racing 500cc Fuel bottle

Made of durable white plastic, the O’Donnell Racing Fuel Bottle is designed to deliver 500cc of fuel quickly and efficiently. It features a machined threaded aluminium adapter with an O-ring seal that completely eliminates leaking. It also sports a black anodized aluminium neck that is angled at the top for easy reach to the fuel tank, while a protrusion on the neck allows the orange rubber cap to be placed securely while fueling the car, so as not to lose it. The O’Donnell logo is printed on the side of the bottle in orange.
