Hong Nor / Jammin pivot ball system Categories - Hong Nor, Jammin, Accessories, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Apparently it is a big deal that Hong Nor / Jammin are releasing this optional pivot ball suspension system, seen above, for their X1 CR buggy? Personally i drove gas circuit cars for 17 years, so for me pivot ball suspension is one of the more accepted suspension systems available, but it seems that this is not the case in off road. Our partner sites Buggy-Sport and Neo-Buggy are trembling with excitment with the news of this revelation so please satisfy them by checking out the pictures on their sites here and here.
Active Hobby maintenance stands Categories - Active Hobby, Tools, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Japanese company Active Hobby have released this very nice looking rotating maintenance stand for your off road buggy or Truggy. They come in 2 colours, blue and black, and look very cool and whats better is that when not in use the legs can fold up so the whole thing is a lot smaller and can be put away in your tool box with little problems. Active Hobby have also released a number of other neat items that you can check on their site here.

Xray release bunch of XB8 Optionals Categories - Xray, Accessories, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Xray have pulled out all the stops and come out with a bunch of new optionals for the XB8 buggy. My favourite of which is the mud scraper shown in the image above, that removes the mud that has built up in the inside of your wheel when racing in wet and muddy conditions. Other parts include clutch bells and spur gears, coloured wheels and wings as well as a new body and a few other bits and pieces.
You can check out all the new optional parts here.

Pro-Line Crime Fighter MTR Categories - Pro Line, Tires, Off Road, Products - comments closed
More news from Pro-Line, this time they have announced their Crime Fighter tire, suitable for truggies and monster trucks. Extensively tested by their team riders, these new tires resist expansion thanks to inner ribbing and are more responsive thanks to a less pronounced sidewall but we’ll let Pro-Line tell you more…
Pro-Line is happy to report that the new MTR version of tire is more responsive due to its less pronounced sidewall and has an inner ribbing on the inner diameter of the tire and an inner ribbing on the sidewall of the tire; thus reducing the amount of tire expansion under acceleration and reducing the amount of sidewall flex while cornering.

Pro-Line release the Crowd Pleazer. Crowd is pleazed Categories - Pro Line, Bodies, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Pro Line makes some sweet products and the new Crowd Pleazer bodies are no exception. Two versions of this body have been released with the first (above) designed for the buggy of the moment, the Team Losi 8ight. There is a big write up on their site about all its features and specs, but lets face it looks good and thats pretty much all that matters, plus you know Pro-Line have your back regards performance so its all good. The second Crowd Pleazer body is for the Team Associated GT2, why it has the same name i don’t know because they look completely different but there you have it. Looks good too and i’m sure handles pretty good too.

Sirio Kanai Evo III STI spotted in the wild Categories - Sirio, Engines, Off Road, Products - comments closed
Buggy-Sport have the scoop on the new Sirio Kanai Evo III STI 3.5cc off road motor. Now we don’t know whose car this is in but the engine is seen in a Kyosho buggy and because of the timing we reckon it was taken at last weekends ‘GP International De Pierrefeu‘. Now Sirio employee and Kyosho racer Adrien Bertin was there so we are going to call it and say that this is his car….just like that (we’ll write a correction when found to be wrong :). By the way Adrien finished 9th after some problems in the final.
UPDATE: The car belonged to Stéphane Deroch and you can see him here with his car.
Also seen in the same car was a new Sirio pipe system, which you can be seen over at Buggy-Sport so check that out.
