JP Racing FX21 R9.S Categories - JP Racing, Engines, On Road, Products - comments closed
JP Racing, the French engine tuning specialists, have released their new .21 circuit engine, the FX21 R9.S. Based on the current series of 9 port Novarossi engines this motor sports ceramic bearings, a 14.5mm crankshaft and a 8.5mm venturi plus a number of JP touches such as some hand tuning and a dark coated crankcase. JP have also released a slightly less high-end engine called the FX21 R7.S which has a 7 + 2 liner configuration and apart from the fact that it doesnt have ceramic bearings it the same as the R9.S.

Some time back we told you about the powerful Atomic RC Evolution electric motors for your Mini-Z. Well should you ever need to replace the bearings in this motor, Atomic RC have released this nifty bearing tool. Similar to the bearing tools seen for gas engines, this bearing tool aids in the removal and insertion of bearings while ensuring they are perfectly in line. Also from Atomic RC today is some nifty adjustable shock absorbers for the AWD Mini-Z as well as some AWD crystal adaptors.

Central release the Mercedes CLK Categories - Central RC, Bodies, On Road, Products - comments closed
Central RC, the Japanese importers for European brands Serpent and Xray, have released pictures of their latest 1/8th scale bodyshell, the Mercedes CLK. If you recall, we showed you this car in CAD form back in the start of December when it was due for an end of year release, well its only now ready and by the looks of things it was worth the wait because this shell looks awesome. Central RC are also the people behind the new 1/8th scale Lola from Serpent and Serpent USA, which is tearing up the circuits around the world so they seem to know what they are doing.

Not exactly revolutionary but i like what Kawahara are doing with their ZAC Project tires, which you can now buy in a box set of 5, which not only saves you money but gives you a great little tire box to use along with it. This system of packaging will be available for all their tyres including both the 1/8th and 1/10th scale versions, now i wonder if Novarossi, who import these tires into Europe, will do the box set too?

Hot Bodies have released these matched high quality springs for use with their World Championship winning on road electric Cyclone chassis range. We wrote about these springs last Christmas when they were originally released under the Atsushi Hara Products brand, but now they are available from Hot Bodies / HPI direct.
Featuring ground-flat ends, cool black coating and a simple paint marking to identify the strength of the spring, these are the ultimate Cyclone tuning spring. The springs are each 25mm long and will fit a variety of shock absorbers from various manufacturers.
