Team Powers digital coreless low profile servo

Team Powers have introduced their new design coreless low profile aluminium case servo. The servo features a new direct drive gear system that can provide more torque and speed with better efficiency. The titanium gears sport a hard coating that will extend durability and on top of this the servo is usable in a wide voltage range of 4.8V up to 8.4V. The high torque the servo provides makes it ideal for touring car and 4WD buggy applications.

Savöx Ryan Cavalieri Edition servos

Savöx USA have released first information on the Ryan Cavalieri Edition 1/10th and 1/8th scale servos. Available are the SB2263MG-CE (0.076s/139oz-in) low-profile and SC1258TG-CE (0.08s/166oz-in) standard-size servo for 1/10th applications as well as the SB2273SG-CE (0.095s/388oz-in) and SB2274SG-CE (0.08s/347oz-in) standard-size high-voltage servos for 1/8th buggies and trucks. All feature an optimised dead band for enhanced on-centre feel, increased holding torque and ultra-flexible black wires besides a RC signature middle section. All four servos are available now.

Hiro Seiko Evo II aluminium brake discs

Hiro Seiko have introduced the Evo II aluminium brake discs for their aluminium steering wheels sets. Available in six different colours the brake disc replicas are hidden behind Hiro Seiko’s aluminium steering wheels, giving transmitters a very distinctive look. The brake discs and steering wheels require Hiro Seiko’s own adapters to make them usable on most of today’s radios.

Sanwa SRG-LS Black low-profile brushless servo

Schumacher Racing, Sanwa distributor in the UK, have introduced the SRG-LS Black low-profile brushless servo. The SSR and High Response mode compatible digital servo features a full metal gear train, double ball bearings, 2-cell HV-compatibility and it comes with a black-colour aluminium middle heatsink. At 7.4V input the SRG-LS pulls up to 12.8kg-cm at a speed of down to 0.08s, making it ideal for 1/10th touring and 2WD buggy applications.

Futaba 4PV 4-channel 2.4GHz radio system

First seen at the Shizuoka Hobby Show earlier this year, Futaba now officially announce the release of the T4PV 2.4GHz telemetry radio system. Featuring T-FHSS protocol the 4PV provides live telemetry data of the vehicle’s temperature, RPM, receiver and external voltage levels. Audible alerts via audio jack allow to focus on driving while staying in the know. With adjustable throttle position, throttle tension, steering tension and 5-optional accessories the 4PV also offers customisable ergonomics. The transmitter is compatible with two T-FHSS receivers and six S-FHSS receivers and is updateable via the CIU-2 and CIU-3 interface ensuring your 4PV keeps up to date with Futaba’s latest technological innovations. Included from stock is the R304SB T-FHSS telemetry receiver.

Sanwa MT-44 2.4GHz 4-channel radio system

Sanwa have introduced the all-new MT-44 4-channel 2.4GHz radio system. The follow-up model of the popular MT-4S offers a completely new case design with a large white back-lit display and an adjustable handle that can be popped out for transpiration and retracted for normal use. The telemetry transmitter offers a range of functions such as ambient temperature display, MicroSD card support for extended model memory, and it makes use of lightweight AAA 3-cell or 1S LiPo batteries for an ultra light weight.  The MT-44 supports Sanwa’s SHR and SSR modulation and it is compatible with most FH4T and FH3 receivers. Other features include chargeability via an USB port and the radio system will become available including a range of receivers such as the RX-482, RX-481, RX-472 or RX-471. The MT-44 is set for a release in November.

T-Works 4PV & 3PV carbon fibre carrying handle

Coming from T-Works and made for the Futaba 4PV and 3PV transmitters is a carbon fibre carrying handle. Constructed from lightweight sheet material the handle comes including mounting hardware in the form of countersunk washers and gold-plated screws with the handle being usable on both the 4PV and 3PV transmitter in order to make for easier and more convenient carrying.
