Pro-Line RC8T Bulldog & SC Tire combos
We already brought you the new Bulldog from Pro-Line for the HB D8T. The Associated RC8T version is also on the way and the body looks to already be bullying the competition with Ryan Cavalieri dominating the Nitrocross World Championships with it recently. Pro-Line also now offers closed cell foam inserts for those tracks that desire a firmer insert set-up. Available in V2, V3 and VTR versions, channel details capture the tire so carcass flex is kept to a minimum and there are now no air gaps in between tires, unlike other brands. For racing your short course truck PL offer their Caliber and Bow-Tie patterns pre mounted on split six black one-piece wheels. Or if you wish to turn your SC into a sand slinging super truck you can try these new Sling Shot SC tires. With 10 monster grabbing 1/4″ tall paddles sand and snow are easily overcome. The Mohawk SC is the perfect compliment for the front of the car. A large center rib and smaller outer rib give your Short Course truck immediate steering. Both are available unmounted or pre mounted on either split six black one-piece wheels or split six red/black bead-loc wheels.

Hot Bodies Truggy tire line up

Nosram VTEC LiFe RX packs & CPX tires
Nosram have introduced a number of new items including their new line up of VTEC LiFe receiver packs and their VTEC pre glued Carpet tires. The batteries are a combination of today’s most used battery types, the robustness and impact resistance of NiMh batteries combined with the capacity, long lifetime and weight advantage of a LiPo battery. They also impress with a higher number of charge cycles and higher cell safety compared to LiPos and the further advantage is that it can be used without an extra RX-regulator. The new VTEC CPX tires offer a newly developed high-traction tire specially for indoor carpet racing. The pre-glued tire features a special low-profile design, which prevents traction-roll on medium to high-grip tracks. With the new CPX pre-glued carpet tire, Nosram also offers a wheel for carpet touring car racing that guarantees 100% controlled racing. The answer to all tyre cheating possibilities are the semi-transparent rims, through which you see the inside of the rims, the result is no cheating.

JConcepts 1/8th scale Bar Codes
JConcepts have finally released their 1/8th scale Bar Codes. The Bar Code design features an alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars providing uncompromising support for blue and black groove conditions. Available in yellow, blue and gold compound and with and without inserts the Bar Codes are a specialty tire that when matched to the appropriate track can provide amazing results. Designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body. Bar Codes in new condition excel on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. AKA Super Soft Compound tires
AKA have announced for the iHobby show the addition of a ‘Super Soft’ compound to their line up of tires. The ‘Super Soft’ or V compound as is noted in the part number is for cooler conditions when the track is transitioning from wet to a drier hard packed line that is not quite grooved in. Great for winter and early spring racing conditions the Super Soft still retains the relative long lasting wear characteristics that AKA is known for while providing that extra measure of traction for the trickiest of surface conditions. This new compound is available in all tread patterns for both buggy and truggy.

East Coast Bodies Blast Off Truck wheels
East Coast Bodies have released new wheels and tires as part of their Blast Off series. These new wheels are suitable for 1/10th scale off road trucks and sport a dual spoked design with ‘Bling’ style finish. The wheels are available separately or as pre glued with rubbed tires for the front and spiked tires for the rear.

GRP Endurance buggy tire
MRP, makers of the GRP tire range have sent us details on their full range of buggy tires. Most you have seen before, but new from the Italian company is the Endurance (first from left, click to make bigger). This is a very rounded tire with very big and low pins, ideal on flat, clean and very blue groove surfaces. It has a plain structure which makes it very smooth and fast on high grip tracks, where with traditional tires, the car tends to roll over easily, making driving very difficult. Its very long life pins makes it an unbeatable tire for all finals, also on high wear tracks. Also suitable for use on asphalt such as on road tracks or car parks. As with all the tires they are available in a variety of compounds, with a variety of inserts.

RB Speedline 1/12th scale tires
RB have released their new Speedline front and rear tires for 1/12th scale racing. Made from the best available foam for carpet racing, with incredible grip and traction. The tires are glued on lightweight white rims, delivered in pairs and available in grey, magenta, pink and white.
