Much More Sweep tire traction

Much More have released a new range of tire additives, and tire care, for rubber touring car tires under the name Sweep. The range of tire additives are called Z1 and Z2 and as with all tire additives, add more grip when applied and allowed to soak in, while the tire cleaner and refresher does exactly as its name suggests by helping to prepare your tire surface for the additives.

JConcepts 1/8th buggy tires

We briefly mentioned the JConcepts report from the ROAR 1/8th Buggy Nats yesterday in our Daily Round up, an event which saw team driver Ryan Maifield take the event TQ, and lead until problems forced him down the order. JConcepts are also reporting in that write up that Ryan was running the companies new Double Dee 1/8th scale buggy tires at that event and from the looks of his performance they appear to be top notch. Available in September, these new tires come in two different threads, Double Dee and Cross Hairs and JC will also release their new Rulux wheel which is available in both white and yellow.

The “Lugs MT” is designed around our completely new, low profile carcass design with a rounded side wall profile. The low profile carcass design provides immediate steering response while the rounded side wall profile reduces carcass roll. Additionally our new carcass design virtually eliminate ballooning without the need for heavy internal ribbing as used by others. Combine our unique carcass design with our specially developed white foam inserts that are virtually immune to breaking down and you end up with a MT tire/insert package that is as much as 25% lighter than other products on the market.

DG Tire Moisture 2.0

More stuff from Powers International in Japan, this time its the release of this DG tire moisture 2.0, a tyre treatment agent. Sold in an 80ml bottle, this treatment has been specially made for use with rubber tires and has been developed and tested to perform under the extreme forces seen with modern touring cars.

Cutting Edge rubber tires

Powers International of Japan have released information about the soon to be available touring car rubber tire from Edge, called Cutting Edge. Designed to provide high levels of grip for long durations, this competition rubber have been race tested and has proved to be great over uneven track surfaces while the strong side walls provide your car with great stablility even when on the limit. Available in 28 and 32 compounds, it goes on sale in late July.

GRP release new Truggy wheels

Italian tire makers, GRP, have announced that they will release an additional range of wheels for truggy racers, to be sold alongside their current versions. The new wheels have a bigger Offset (1/2′), compared to the original versions that come with a standard offset, which ensures that all the different models of truggy currently present on the market are covered. Also announced is that both standard and bigger offset wheels are available in the original fluorescent yellow and now also in while, meaning there are now 4 different types of truggy wheel from GRP.

HB Gumball tyres & D4 diff upgrade

Hot Bodies have announced that they will be soon shipping these new pre glued tyres, called Gumballs, which have been designed to be used as control tyres for 30T, 27T and 23T motor classes. Made using a compound that is very durable, yet provides sufficient grip, the Gumballs come pre mounted, with insert, on these durable white disc wheels. Also new from Hot Bodies is the release of a diff upgrade set for the Cyclone D4, with the main change being the use of a 2.6mm screw in place of the 2.0mm version that was originally available. This extra thickness on the diameter of the screw increases the durability of the differential.

Much More CTX-W & Silent Charger Platinum

It appears that black screens are all the rage at Much More these days, following on from the release last week of the Motor Master Platinum with the black LCD display. Today sees the release of both the CTX-W Platinum tire warmer and the Silent Charger Platinum, both of which have been ugraded with the cool new screen that was only seen previously on the Moore and Rheinard editions. Apart from this change there are no other updates on the tire warmer but the Silent charger has been upgarded to have user selectable 3-step delta peak sensitivity (Low-Medium-High).
