Exotek have released these new wheels for the F104. Designed for use with the top rated Shimizu rubber tires for the F104, they are made of nylon for durability and light weight construction and have +3mm off set front and back for perfect 189mm width with tires installed. The special design is ribbed on the inner side and lipped on the outer side for hassle free mounting and gluing of the tires. Also 2 vent holes are molded in for perfect tire performance and the outer rim has a rounded contour to keep from damaging the soft rubber sidewalls. An additional feature is designed into the wheel, it has a slightly larger radius to perfectly match up with the inner radius of the inner tire bead which translates to easier gluing and mounting as well. Matrix have introduced their newly designed Xtreme rim for 1/8 featuring new plastics following a year and a half research with a large European plastics company. The new design offers higher cornering speeds and lots of rear stability and will be available in three different types, normal (white plastic), carbon (with carbon) and a lightweight version. The light version uses a modified nylon which has a mass less than the polypropylene used by other manufacturers, the benefits of which is weight, these rims being the lightest on the market but with the same strength as the normal nylon rim. The weight of one set of 1/8 rims is only 62 grams. matrix will soon produce 1/10 rims with this special plastic.

With victories all over the world and back-to-back ROAR National Championships, the Hazard has established itself as the go-to wheel for Short Course racing on the Team Associated SC10, SC10 4×4 and TLR 22 SCT and Losi SCT-E. With advancements and perspective changing within the Short Course Class and driver preferences focusing more exclusively on performance, JConcepts has added a much anticipated accessory to the line-up. The wheel dish, available in black, white and yellow, can add a personal or more focused driven setup tweak to the popular Hazard wheel. The wheel dish is injection molded plastic and features built-in geometry to engage into the Hazard wheel and provide that dish wheel style with very minimal effort.
