Όπως εμείς πιθανός πίσω στην παγκόσμια προθέρμανση, η ομάδα Orion έχει αναγγείλει την επιστροφή του ενός που είναι όλοι οι χρονικοί αγαπημένοι οδηγοί, καλαμοειδής φυλή του 2008 των πρωτοπόρων νικητής Atsushi Hara. Το Atsushi είχε μια μακροχρόνια ιστορία και πολλές νίκες με την ομάδα Orion κατά τη διάρκεια των ετών και μετά από ένα μικρό σημείο ελέγχου ομάδας σπασιμάτων ενώνοντας, είναι πολύ ευτυχείς να τον καλωσορίσουν πίσω στην ομάδα παγκόσμιων πρωτοπόρων τους. «Αισθάνεται ότι όπως επιστρέφω το σπίτι» Atsushi σχολίασα την πρόσφατη επίσκεψή του στην ομάδα Orion ΗΠΑ. Με την καταπληκτική ικανότητα Atsushi που συνδυάζεται με τις νέες μηχανές BL Orion ομάδας, της ΟΚΕ, τους φορτιστές, καθώς επίσης και την κερδίζοντας γραμμή βραβείων τους μπαταριών απόδοσης, βλέπουνε το φωτεινό μέλλον μπροστά από κοινού.

Το Masami Hirosaka προσχωρεί στην ομάδα Nosram Categories - Nosram, Electric, Racing, Drivers - add a comment 
Μετά από μερικούς που τρέχουν νωρίτερα στο έτος με LRP, ο μύθος αυτοκινήτων R/C και κόσμος-πρωτοπόρος Masami Hirosaka 14 χρόνου IFMAR έχει υπογραφεί πρόσφατα στην ομάδα Nosram επιχείρησης αδελφών. Για έναν οδηγό όπως Masami, μόνο ο καλύτερος δυνατός εξοπλισμός θα κάνει και έχει επιλέξει να χρησιμοποιήσει τις αβούρτσιστους μηχανές Nosram ομάδας και τους ελέγχους ταχύτητας. Αυτός ο συνδυασμός θα τον δώσει ότι σημαντικό πλεονέκτημα πέρα από τον ανταγωνισμό σε αυτό το σημαντικό έτος παγκόσμιου πρωταθλήματος. Το Masami είναι ενεργό στο πιό υψηλό επίπεδο ανταγωνισμού για πάνω από 20 έτη και έχει αποδείξει πολλές φορές ότι είναι ένας από τους καλύτερους οδηγούς στον πλανήτη. Έχει κερδίσει τους τίτλους WC και μακριά και -δρόμων κατηγορίες αλλά ο ISTC τίτλος τον αποφεύγει ακόμα, κάτι που ελπίζει να κερδίσει τελικά φέτος.

Το Jason Moggridge προσχωρεί στην ομάδα μαγική Categories - Team Magic, Electric, Racing, Drivers - add a comment 
Η ομάδα μαγική Ευρώπη επρόκειτο σε επαφή να μας ενημερώσει ότι το UK ηλεκτρικό στον οδικό δρομέα Jason Moggridge έχει γίνει μέλος της επίσημης ομάδας τους. Το Jason τελείωσε το 4$ο πέρυσι στο UK SLCC, και κάθεται αυτήν την περίοδο στη 2$α θέση σε αυτά τα έτη STCC & SLCC». Το Jason θα τρέξει τώρα με τη νέα ομάδα μαγικό E4RS για το υπόλοιπο της εποχής.

Ο Fabrizio Teghesi ενώνει Kyosho Categories - Kyosho, Off Road, International, Racing, Drivers - add a comment
Kyosho Germany have confirmed that front running Italian buggy racer Fabrizio Teghesi has joined their team to race the Japanese company’s buggy and truggy. Starting his racing career with buggies in 2000, the Italian racer was runner up in the National Championships last year, racing for Crono, and will this year compete for Kyosho at both National and International level, including the World Championships in the USA.

Zac Ryan joins Hong Nor Categories - Hong Nor, Gas, Off Road, Racing, Drivers - add a comment
Hong Nor is proud to announce the signing of Zac Ryan to the Hong Nor Racing Team in Australia. Zac will partner Martin Wolhuter and Justin Milan at the Queensland Championships next month were he will be driving the new X1X Team buggy with the popular 16mm shocks. Zac has done very well in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa where he was runner up at the recent South African Championships.

In Memoriam - Koen Joosens Categories - Electric, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
We were saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Belgian National Electric TC Champion Koen Joosens. The young driver was killed in a tragic accident on Wednesday the 7th of May. A Schumacher team driver and leading figure in the Belgian RC scene, he will be sorely missed by the racing community and everyone that knew him. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Spanish company, Merlin Fuel, have announced that top Austrian racer Daniel Tomaschko has joined their team. Winner of the recent European 1/8th ‘B’ Championships warm-up race in Kirchberg, the Serpent driver will use the company’s fuel and other products for the rest of the year.

Atsushi Hara rejoining Team Orion? Categories - Team Orion, Electric, Racing, Drivers - comments closed 
Seen in the pits at this weekend’s Worlds Warm-up race in Thailand, is Atsushi Hara testing what looks like the new Team Orion Vortex motor in his Hot Bodies Cyclone. The former World Champion left the Swiss company at the end of 2006 to join Team Checkpoint, but the US company appears to have done little in the way of development in recent times and this appears to have left the Japanese driver looking for alternatives. Also spotted on Hara’s workbench are some Team Orion cells, and this new combination seems to be working as he is currently fastest after today’s controlled practice although we dont know if he will run with this motor in qualifying.
