Na in de voetstappen van zijn Tamiya teampartner Jilles Groskamp, Heeft Viktor Wilck een overeenkomst ondertekend om de motoren van de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het seizoen, met een optie voor 2009 te gebruiken. Vroeger lopend met de eenheden van Orion van het Team, de Zweedse bestuurder die won Kop DHI vroeger op het jaar, gebruikte de nieuwe motoren voor het eerst bij vorige weekends Ras LRP waarin hij in 3de positie eindigde.

Robert Pietsch sluit zich aan bij de Banden van ATS Categories - ATS, Gas, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed 
De huidige 200mm van het Duits 1/8th en 1/10th Nationale Kampioen Robert Pietsch is bevestigd om op Italiaans ATS van de bandleverancier overgeschakeld te hebben. Debuting met zijn nieuw schuim bij vorig weekend Pre Werelden in Portugal, gebruikte de ontwerper van Velox van de Herder zijn Röntgenstraal NT1 in 2de positie kwalificeren alvorens te gaan om urenlange def. in derde achter het team van ATS te beëindigen koppelt Dario Balestri en uiteindelijke winnaar Daniele Ielasi.

Groskamp sluit aan zich officieel bij de Hartstocht van de Snelheid Categories - Speed Passion, Electric, International, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Jilles Groskamp zal officieel de Hartstocht van de Snelheid voor de rest van het het rennen seizoen vertegenwoordigen. Op het kuilgebied hier bij de 2de ronde van Veel meer gesteunde ETS, behandelt de hoogste Internationale bestuurder Tamiya die aan ons wordt bevestigd dat hij heeft goedgekeurd de Hartstocht van de Snelheid om hem van motoren voor de rest van het jaar te voorzien. Jilles heeft Hong Kong in werking gesteld slechts gemaakt tot motoren sinds het begin van het seizoen maar dat overeenkomst wordt geïnkt bij TITC in Thailand 2 weken geleden die ook de Nederlandse bestuurder de Hartstocht van de Snelheid bij Kampioenschappen de van dit jaar van de Wereld zullen zien rennen.

Darren Johnson sluit zich aan bij Röntgenstraal Categories - Xray, Gas, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Mirage die in het UK rent heeft aangekondigd dat hoogste 200mm racer, en de Europese finalist, Darren Johnson zich bij Röntgenstraal hebben aangesloten om NT1 te rennen. Darren brengt aan de team talloze Nationale overwinningen en de immense kennis & de ervaring die de rest van het team zullen helpen, dat uit Ben Cosgrove, Teken Gilliland en Robin Hammett bestaat. Darren, die eerder voor Magisch Team rende, zal ook de volledige lijn van banden GRP in werking stellen.

Ryan Maker joins Team Xray Categories - Xray, Electric, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Team Xray Australia have announced that young Australian racer Ryan Maker has signed to race the Xray range of touring cars for 2008. Commenting on his deal to race the T2′008 & NT1, Ryan had the following to say:

Jimmy Maddison signs to SMC Categories - SMC, Electric, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
2007 IIC and 2008 DHI Cup winner Jimmy Maddison from the UK has been in contact to tell us that he has signed a deal to run SMC cells for the rest of this year. The Schumacher team driver said he was very excited about the change and is looking forward to working with Danny from SMC to help develop the new Ener-G 4600 cells.

Clive Connolly to race Serpent 720 Categories - Serpent, Gas, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed 
Current Irish 1:8 on road National Champion Clive Connolly has announced that he will double his 2008 Irish campaign and head Team Serpent Ireland’s challenge for 1:10 200mm title honours. The Multiple 1:8 National Champion, who will race a Serpent 960 08 both in Ireland and Europe this season, was attracted to the 1:10 Championship by the competitiveness of the class in Ireland, with this year’s 6 round national series expected to attracted 30 plus drivers per event making for one of the best ever seasons of 200mm racing in the country. For his 1:10 campaign Connolly will race Serpent’s latest 720 08 which will be powered by Mega ZX engines.

Sabrina Lechner signs to Shepherd Categories - Shepherd, Gas, On Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed 
Yet another Shepherd signing, this time its German lady racer Sabrina Lechner who following on from last months announcement that she will run IDM motors has agreed to run the German made Velox for this season. Alongside IDM motors, European ‘B’ Championship semi finalist Sabrina will also run the new ATS made IDM tires in this years German Nationals. As with all 3 new Shepherd signings announced yesterday, Sabrina had competed with Mugen until this season.
