Planning well in advance, the organisers of the Snowbirds were in contact to tell us that the 2009 event is happening and will once more take place at the Radisson Resort in Orlando Florida. Following the heats it was Serpent racer Bart Wubben that was on pole position in Modified, some 6 seconds in front of team mate Rob Jansen in 2nd, with Tamiya driver Arjen Potharst and Serpent driver Rene Cornella in 3rd and 4th respectively. We received a brief report from the 2nd round of 1/10th scale electric touring Danish Nationals that was held last weekend at the GRCC’s large track in Greve. Team Magic Europe was in contact to let us know that UK electric on road racer Jason Moggridge has become a member of their official team. Jason finished 4th last year in the UK SLCC, and is currently sitting in 2nd place in this years STCC & SLCC’. We received a report from the 2nd round of the 2008 Danish Off-Road DRCMU championship that was run last weekend on the outdoor carpet track in Tinglev.
