Jilles Groskamp and Vasco Christiaanse have secured the TQ for the latest round of the Much More backed Euro Touring Series which is taking place at the MACH track in the Netherlands this weekend. Racing in his backyard, Tamiya ace Groskamp won three of todays four heats thereby putting the pole position out of reach of his rivals. Toughest of those rivals is current Dutch National Vice-Champion Hugo Van der Berg who took victory in the second of the heats and is currently on target to line up on the front row with his fellow countryman. ETS Round 4 in Austria Cancelled ETS Round 4 na Áustria Cancelado Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series have informed us that their 4th round, which was due to take place in Vienna Austria on the 9th - 11th of May, has had to be cancelled. Os organizadores do muito mais apoiado Europeia Touring Series informaram-nos que a sua 4a rodada, que foi devido a ter lugar em Viena Áustria sobre a 9 ao 11 de maio, teve de ser cancelado. Due to conflicts with other events on the same weekend in Austria, the host club were unable to hold this event on the same weekend and due to busy schedules there are no other options to move this round to another date. Devido a conflitos com outros eventos na mesma semana na Áustria, o clube anfitrião não foram capazes de realizar este evento na mesma semana e movimentado devido a horários, não existem outras opções para passar esta fase para outra data. The plan is to race in Austria for the 2008-2009 series so the ETS will be happening in Vienna at some stage. O plano é a corrida na Áustria para a série 2008-2009 modo que o STE vai estar acontecendo em Viena em algum estágio.
This weekends round 3 in the Netherlands is going ahead as usual and is looking to be a great race with some super quick drivers present and most importantly the weather is looking like it will be dry. Esta semana round 3, nos Países Baixos está a avançar como é habitual e está olhando para ser uma grande corrida com alguns condutores presentes super rápido e mais importante o tempo está olhando como ele será seco. The MACH track will be open all day Friday for practice, while for those racers that cant take time off on Friday and want to still race at this event, Saturday morning there is 2 more practice rounds before qualifying begins. O MACH pista estará aberta todos os dias para sexta prática, enquanto que para aqueles pilotos que cant ter tempo livre na sexta-feira e pretende ainda a corrida deste evento, ao sábado manhã há 2 voltas mais prática antes de qualificação começa. The control tyre has also been confirmed for this weekends race and it will be Much More Sweep 32 tyres with Sweep Pink insert mounted on Sweep Rims. O controle pneu também foi confirmado esta semana para a corrida e vai ser muito mais Sweep 32 pneus com Sweep Pink inserir montados em jantes Sweep.

For the 3rd round of the Much More backed European Touring Series, the action moves to the Netherlands and the MACH track in Heemstede, just outside Amsterdam. Taking place from the 11th - 13th of April, this will be a great opportunity to race against World class racers on this amazing World famous track. Tendo lugar a partir do 11-13 de abril, esta será uma grande oportunidade para uma corrida contra o Mundo classe pilotos sobre esta incrível Mundo famosa pista. The curtain has come down on the second round of the inaugural European Touring Series in Vejle, Denmark, and it was Jilles Groskamp and Nicolai Nielsen that leave Vejle in Denmark with the main silverware. The weekend produced plenty of thrilling race action but in the end it was those that set the pace in qualifying that ruled the finals. A Tamiya is guaranteed to start the second round of the Muchmore backed ETS in pole for tomorrow’s Modified A mains, but which driver it will be will not be decided until tomorrow morning’s final qualifier.
