The 2nd round of the Swedish Cup for Nitro track racing took place last weekend at the Växjö track in in the south east of Sweden. A 2 ª ronda da Taça do sueco para a pista Nitro corrida teve lugar a semana passada em Växjö na pista, no sudeste da Suécia. Saturday’s practice was run in nice weather and in the 1/8th scale class it was young Kyosho driver Niklas Johansson who TQ’d ahead of Mugen racer Mikael Fransson with Marcus Lindner in 3rd for Kyosho. In the 1/10 scale class it was Kyosho drivers Alexander Andersson and Roland Ström that took the two first qualifying places followed by Serpent driver Tommy Bergfeldt. All the finals were held on Sunday and despite it being dry, it was rather cold, around 6 degrees. The 1/8th final was an exciting race with the drivers opting for different strategies due to fuel consumption and tire changes. In the end Mikael Fransson took the win followed by Marcus Lindner, running very close to the track lap record, with 3rd spot going to Serpent driver Christoffer Hallborg. No fim das contas Mikael Fransson tomou a vitória seguido por Marcus Lindner, correr muito perto da pista voltas recorde, com 3o local vai Serpent condutor Christoffer Hallborg. In the 1/10th scale final the drama begun on the starting grid as top qualifier Alexander Andersson had his gearbox come loose. No final do drama 1/10th escala começou a grelha de partida como top qualificador Alexander Andersson tinha a sua caixa vir solta. This made it easy for Roland Ström, who drove a controlled and stable race to the chequered flag, claiming the win in front of Serpent racer Per-Ola Hård, while 3rd spot went to young driver Edwin Sunesson racing a Kyosho. Isso tornou fácil para Roland Ström, que impulsionou uma corrida controlada e estável para a bandeira axadrezada, alegando a vencer na frente de Serpent racer Per-Ola Hård, enquanto 3o local foi para o jovem piloto Edwin Sunesson uma corrida Kyosho.

The 3rd round of the British 1/10th scale Nationals took place last weekend in Mendip under dry conditions, following some damp practice sessions on Saturday. A 3 ª ronda do British 1/10th escala Nationals teve lugar na semana passada Mendip sob condições secas, após algumas sessões práticas úmido no sábado. Qualifying went the way of young Serpent racer Kyle Branson, who took pole position by half a second in front of team mate Mark Green. Qualificação de jovens passou a maneira Serpent racer Kyle Branson, que teve pole position por meio segundo na frente do companheiro de equipa Mark Green. The main final started off with a close battle between the front 2, seeing Kyle lead for the first 5 minutes, only dropping to 2nd for one lap while going for fuel, immediately regaining the lead on exiting the pit lane. Os principais final começaram com uma estreita batalha entre 2 a frente, vendo Kyle levar para os primeiros 5 minutos, caindo para apenas uma volta para a 2a, indo para o combustível, imediatamente readquirir a levar a sair do pit lane. This order stayed the same until Mark had problems and dropped down the field, which allowed Kyle to cruise to a 2 lap victory, his first National win, ahead of 2nd placed Robin Hammet with his Xray team mate Gareth Bell 3rd. Este fim permaneceu o mesmo até Mark teve problemas e caiu para baixo do campo, o que permitiu, Kyle para um cruzeiro de 2 voltas vitória, sua primeira vitória nacional, à frente da 2a colocada Robin Hammet com o seu companheiro de equipa Xray Gareth Bell 3o.

The 2nd round of the Dutch 1/10th scale Nationals was run last weekend at the super fast Baanbrekers track in Rucphen in the South West of the country. A 2 ª ronda do neerlandês 1/10th escala Nationals foi executado na semana passada o super fast track Baanbrekers em Rucphen no Sudoeste do país. Saturday’s practice was interrupted by rain and this meant that many drivers had problems getting a setup for the cars for Sunday’s race. Qualifying on Sunday was run in the dry and in the National class it was newly signed Xray racer Daan Jacobs that took the pole position just ahead of local racer Pedro Rombouts in 2nd, with Serpent pairing of Ruud Schuitmaker and Remy Moller rounding out the top 4. The second round of the Irish On Road Nitro Nationals took place over the weekend at the St. Annes track in the Irish Capital of Dublin and it was returning young ace Dean Lacey who took top honours in 1:8 at the controls of his Serpent 960. A segunda rodada do irlandês On Road Nitro Nationals teve lugar no fim de semana em St. Annes da pista na capital irlandesa de Dublin, e foi voltando ás jovens Dean Lacey que teve início em 1:8 honras aos comandos do seu Serpent 960 . Fellow Serpent driver Graeme Lougheed was the Top Qualifier but a startline incident ended his chances of victory. Fellow Serpent condutor Graeme LOUGHEED foi o Top Qualifier startline mas um incidente terminou as suas possibilidades de vitória. This allowed Lacey to take control and make the perfect return to sport after a 10 month absence as he claimed the win ahead of the Kyosho’s of Colin Whelan and Nico Azzariti. The Dirt in Southern California played host to last weekend’s Pro-Line Max Challenge, and it was O’Donnell racer Jared Tebo that TQ’d and won both the pro buggy and pro truggy classes. A sujeira no sul da Califórnia foi palco para a última semana do Pro-Line Max Challenge, e foi O'Donnell racer Jared Tebo que TQ'd e venceu ambas as pró buggy e pró truggy classes. Tebo was unchallenged in both finals, winning the buggy final by a lap from Losi racer Matt Castellano in 2nd and Mugen driver Bobby Tillman in 3rd, while in the truggy final Tebo managed once more to have a lap advantage, this time over Kyosho driver Levi Jackson in 2nd, with Losi man Matt Castellano claimed 3rd. Tebo foi incontestado em ambas as finais, conquistando o buggy final por volta de um Losi racer Matt Castellano Mugen no 2o e 3o do condutor Bobby Tillman, enquanto que no truggy final Tebo gerida, mais uma vez, volta a ter uma vantagem, desta vez ao longo do condutor Kyosho Levi Jackson na 2 ª, com Matt Castellano Losi homem alegou 3o.

We received a brief report from the 3rd round of the BRCA 1/8th scale Nationals, held yesterday at the Cotswolds track. Nós recebemos um relatório sucinto a partir da 3 ª ronda do BRCA 1/8th escala Nacionais, realizada ontem em Cotswolds a pista. Qualifying saw the first round TQ’d by Tim Wood by 4 seconds from Serpent team mates Richard Hicklin and Neil Diver with Mugen racer Andy North in 4th. Qualificação viu na primeira rodada TQ'd por Tim Wood por 4 segundos de Serpent equipe mates Richard Hicklin e Neil Diver com Mugen racer Andy North na 4a. Round 2, and Richard was flying and was about to TQ when he came into contact with Chris Heath’s Montonica, this left Tim still on pole from Andy North who was now only 1/2 second behind. Round 2, e Richard estava a voar e estava prestes a TQ quando ele entrou em contato com Chris Heath's Montonica, este deixou Tim ainda em pólo de Andy North que foi agora apenas 1 / 2 segundo trás. Round 3 and it was Richard Hicklin that took TQ by 4 seconds over Andy North, with the only 20 Lap run of the day as Round 4 turned out to be slower for everyone. Round 3, e foi Richard Hicklin que teve TQ por 4 segundos com Andy North, com apenas 20 Lap correr do dia como Round 4 viria a revelar-se mais lento para todos.

The 2nd round of the Spanish 1/10th 200mm National Championships took place last weekend in Zaragoza. A 2 ª rodada do Campeonato Espanhol 1/10th 200 milímetros Nacional teve lugar na semana passada Zaragoza. Qualifying saw the pole position go to the Mugen racer Josué Artiles ahead of Xray driver Eduardo Escandon in 2nd and Iñaki Pahissa in 3rd. Qualificação viu o pole position ir para o Mugen racer Josué Artiles à frente do motorista Xray Eduardo Escandon em 2o e 3o, em Pahissa Iñaki. The main final saw pole man Artiles lead for a long time until he ran into problems and this allowed Xray driver Iñaki Pahissa into the lead were he could bring his car home for the win, 1 lap ahead of team mates Víctor Pelaez in 2nd and Mikel Angulo in 3rd, a lap further back. O principal pólo final viu o homem Artiles conduzir por um longo tempo até que ele correu em problemas e isso permitiu Xray Iñaki Pahissa para o motorista conduzir eram ele poderia trazer o seu carro para casa a ganhar, 1 volta à frente da equipe mates Victor Pelaez, em 2 ª e Mikel Angulo em 3o, uma volta mais para trás.

Last weekend saw race number 5 in the Israeli League, taking place at the Hot Wheels racing track in North of Israel. Última semana viu corrida número 5 na Liga israelita, tendo lugar no Hot Wheels corridas em pista norte de Israel. The weather was fantastic and it was Yaniv Sivan that took the TQ ahead of Nir Sivan and Adir Zvoloni. O clima era fantástico, e foi o que levou a Yaniv Sivan TQ à frente de Nir Sivan e Adir Zvoloni. The final saw and exciting race as Yaniv Sivan lost his first position on the first lap dropping to 7th and having to make a big comeback on the rest of the field. O último viu e emocionante corrida como Yaniv Sivan perdeu a sua primeira posição na primeira volta soltando a 7a e ter que fazer uma grande volta com o resto do campo. Yaniv Levi took the lead following Yaniv’s problems and was chased hard by Nir Sivan and Dotan Halevi. Yaniv Levi tomou a dianteira na sequência da Yaniv problemas e foi duramente perseguido por Nir Sivan e Dotan Halevi. 10 mintues into the race Dotan took the lead, all the while being closed down on by Yaniv Sivan who was in 4th at this stage. 10 mintues na corrida Dotan assumiu a liderança, enquanto todo o ser fechados com a Yaniv Sivan que estava na 4a nesta fase. When Yaniv Levi had clutch problems and had to quit, Yaniv Sivan could make his way up to to 2nd and closed the gap on the leader Dotan Halevi. Quando Yaniv Levi tinha embraiagem problemas e teve de desistir, Yaniv Sivan poderia fazer o seu caminho até a 2 ª e encerrou o fosso em que o líder Dotan Halevi. At the last pit stop Dotan Halevi came out from the pit lane and had a flame out and despite a quick restart, Yaniv Sivan could take the lead. Na última pit stop Dotan Halevi saiu do pit lane e tinha uma chama-se e apesar de um reinício rápido, Yaniv Sivan poderia assumir a liderança. For the last 7 minutes, Dotan tried to close the gap but at the end Yaniv Sivan won the race followed by Dotan Halevi with Nir Sivan in 3rd. Durante os últimos 7 minutos, Dotan tentou colmatar esta lacuna, mas no final Yaniv Sivan venceu a corrida seguido por Dotan Halevi com Nir Sivan em 3o.
