Riccardo Rabitti neemt Italiaanse Nats Rd2 Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
De 2de ronde van de Italiaanse 1/8ste schaalIngezetenen met fouten heeft dit weekend bij het Blauwe spoor van Konijnen in Empoli plaatsgevonden. Het kwalificeren voor van de het raszaag van de Zondag racer Riccardo Rabitti van Losi neemt een poolstandpunt voor in om 1 winnaar, Crono racer Davide Tortorici in tweede en Fabio Boero, die een Mugen in derde drijft. Wint de de klassen definitieve zaag van de zondag F1 weinig verandering bij de voorzijde met nemen Rabitti van Boero in tweede, die erin slaagde om overgegaane Tortorici te krijgen die de race in derde beëindigde. In de categorie van F2 was het wint voor Mugen bestuurder Eugenio Berti, terwijl Alessandro Stocco de agent op vlek voor Losi en Helmuth Aufderklamm nam die uit hoogste 3, opnieuw voor Mugen rond maakt.

Jerome Renaux wint Belgische Nats Rd2 Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
De 2de ronde van de Belgische Ingezetenen vond vorig weekend in Luxemburg op het zelfde weekend zoals de 1/8ste schaalIngezetenen wij plaats behandeld eerder. Kwalificerend voor T1 neemt racer Jerome Renaux van de Röntgenstraal van de klassenzaag de vlek van de poolpositie van zijn teampartners Steve Lanbrechts in tweede en Jonathan Sanza in derde, terwijl in de klasse van T2 het opnieuw een Röntgenstraal op pool met Donato Vazza die eerste voor Stephane Hubin neemt was, terwijl Jonathan Desmet uit hoogste 3 rond maakte. De T1 definitieve man Renaux van de zaagpool trekt een voordeel terug en ondanks wat regen half in def., verliet hij het tot de laatste 5 minuten aan verandering in natte banden. Hij kon zijn voordeel handhaven en nemen wint van racer Manuel Henriet van het Serpent in de 2de en bestuurder Michel Tomagra derde van de Röntgenstraal. In de klasse van T2, was er een ras lange slag tussen Hubin en om 1 de winnaar Stelregel Claes, maar sommige koppelingsproblemen voor Stelregel zagen winnen naar de bestuurder van de Röntgenstraal met Claes ga die de agent op vlek en Olivier Riffon in derde neemt.

Zac Ryan sluit zich aan bij Hong noch Categories - Hong Nor, Gas, Off Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Hong noch is trots om het ondertekenen van Zac Ryan aan Hong noch het Rennende Team in Australië aan te kondigen. Zac will partner Martin Wolhuter and Justin Milan at the Queensland Championships next month were he will be driving the new X1X Team buggy with the popular 16mm shocks. Zac has done very well in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa where he was runner up at the recent South African Championships.

Hickersen wins RC Pro East Series Rd2 Categories - Events, Gas, Off Road, Racing - comments closed 
We received a report from Gene Hickersen on round 2 of the RC Pro East Series that was held at Sumter, South Carolina last weekend. There was a light turnout of 110 entries due to several other big races the same weekend on the East coast, but the track was challenging as the best from the East battled for the Division Championship. It was perfect weather with 85′ F temps. The track was watered before each round, but got very dusty and bumpy as the weekend went on.

Garrigou wins French Classic Nats Rd3 Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
The 3rd round of the French Classic Flat pan chassis National Championships took place in Angouleme last weekend under sunny skies. Following the victory of Gilles Garrigou 1 month previously with the DXF Primo chassis, the RB powered driver was on the pace once more. Qualifying 4th behind Romain Delaunay who was on pole for Motonica, he was able to overtake the challengers in front of him to take the win ahead of Didier Frelat racing the BRX Red Ball, while 3rd position went to current French Champion Bruno Petiot, also driving a DXF Primo.
Juan Pablo Golobic wins in Argentina Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Another National Championship round held last weekend, this time part of the Argentinian 1/10 touring car series run at the ‘Hernan Matticoli’ track in Buenos Aires. With 40 racers in attendance they were given practice on the Friday, with qualifying beginning already on Saturday which was headed by Kyosho driver Agustin Cutini. Sunday saw the 45 minute main final run under good weather conditions and despite the fastest lap of the final going to Sebastian Recio, it was National Champion Juan Pablo Golobic, driving a Sirio powered Kyosho that took the win from pole man Agustin Cutini in 2nd, while the 3rd spot belonged to Mugen driver Adrian Castro.

Lander wins BRCA Rubber Nats Rd2 Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
The 2nd round of the 1/10th scale 200mm rubber Nationals took place at the Halifax track last weekend and we received the following report from Steve Lander. With the weather looking superb and the track having been prepared brilliantly by the host club, after its recent flooding and fire, it certainly looked like this meeting was going to be fast paced.

Coelho wins 1/8th Portuguese Nats Rd3 Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Another race on the Monsanto track in Lisbon, this time it was the 3rd round of the 1/8th scale National Championships. Sunday’s qualifying begun under wet conditions and while some drivers waited for the conditions to improve, top Mugen racer Bruno Coelho took the opportunity to run in some new Sirio motors for the 1/8th scale Europeans that will take place in Valencia in July. In Portugal the top 14 drivers in qualifying go into the semi final and are joined by 3 drivers from each of the quarter finals, who ever is quickest in the semi’s takes the pole position for the main final and this was Coelho, despite missing the start of the race. The final saw the pole man go straight into the lead where he could stretch out a 3 lap advantage to win over guest Brazilian driver Eduardo Dulac in 2nd, with João Malveiro 3rd.
