The third round of the French 1/8th scale on road Nationals was run last weekend at the Circuit Carole in Aulnay, just outside the city of Paris. We received a brief update from last weekends SoCal Saturday Series that was held at the Hemet Race Park track. Wir erhielten eine kurze Update vom letzten Wochenende SoCal Samstag Serie, fand in der Hemet Park Race Track. Team Losi racer, and winner of Team Losi Racer, und der Gewinner round 1 Runde 1 , Adam Drake took the TQ in the Pro Buggy class and went on to win ahead of Losi team mate Matt Castellano in 2nd and Kyosho’s Cody King in 3rd. , Adam der Drake hat TQ in der Pro Buggy Klasse und fuhr fort zu gewinnen vor Losi Teamkollege Matt Castellano im 2. und Kyosho Cody's King im 3.. The Drake also took the TQ and win in the Pro Truck class, giving him a perfect score so far in this years series. Die Drake nahm auch die TQ und Sieg in der Pro-Truck-Klasse, indem man ihm eine perfekte des Gastes bisher in diesem Jahr-Serie.

FAMAR and AAPARTT, the Argentinian National RC Federation, has selected AARBA (Asociación de Automodelismo Radiocontrolado de Buenos Aires) to run the first Americas Championships. FAMAR und AAPARTT, der argentinischen National RC Föderation, hat AARBA (Asociación de Automodelismo Radiocontrolado de Buenos Aires), um den ersten Amerika-Meisterschaften. This event will take place at the ‘Hernan Matticoli’ circuit on November 6th to 9th 2008 and is open to 1/8 and 1/10 on road categories. Diese Veranstaltung findet auf dem 'Hernan Matticoli' Circuit in 6 bis 9. November 2008 und ist offen für 1 / 8 und 1 / 10 on road Kategorien. The organisers are looking forward to have the attendance of racers in both categories and from different countries and claim that this event will be a similar international experience like last years 1/8th scale World Championships, which also took place in Argentina. The first round of the Austrian Nationals were run at the 300m long Kirchberg track, under dry and sunny conditions. Die erste Runde der österreichische Staatsbürger wurden auf der 300m langen Strecke Kirchberg, unter trockenen und sonnigen Bedingungen. Qualification saw the pole position go to Serpent racer Gerhard Kandelhart, with Xray driver Manuel Singer in 2nd and Stefan Mayerhofer in 3rd. Qualifikation sah der Pole-Position zum Serpent Rennfahrer Gerhard Kandelhart, mit XRay Fahrer Manuel Singer im 2. und Stefan Mayerhofer in 3rd. At the start of the final, Pittner, Tomaschko and Kandelhart were able to quickly pull ahead of the main pack, while due to a driving mistake, Singer had an off and dropped back down the field. Zu Beginn des endgültigen, Pittner, Tomaschko und Kandelhart konnten schnell ziehen vor der Haupt-Packung, während durch eine treibende Fehler, Singer hatte ein aus-und wieder fallen gelassen Bereich. Back on the track and the Xray driver began to to catch those ahead and was able to take the lead and the win, finishing ahead of team mate Martin Pittner in 2nd and Daniel Tomaschko in 3rd. Zurück auf der Strecke und der XRay Fahrer begann zu fangen diese vor und konnte die Führung übernehmen und den Sieg, Finishing vor Teamkollege Martin Pittner im 2. und Daniel Tomaschko in 3rd.

The EFRA GP in Greece for 1/8th scale buggies was held this weekend on the same track that will host this Summer’s European Championships. Die EFRA GP in Griechenland für Maßstab 1:8 Buggys fand an diesem Wochenende auf der gleichen Spur, die Gastgeber dieser Summer's European Championships. All the top European names were present, as well as current World Champion Mark Pavidis from the USA, who made the trip over to compete at the event. Alle die europäische Top-Namen waren anwesend, sowie aktuelle Weltmeister Mark Pavidis aus den USA, machte die Fahrt über den Wettbewerb auf der Veranstaltung. Qualifying saw the TQ go to Losi racer Yannick Aigoin, ahead of Mugen driver Renaud Savoya in 2nd and Serpent racer Joern Neumann in 3rd. Qualifying sah die TQ go to Losi racer Yannick Aigoin vor MUGEN Fahrer Renaud Savoyen im 2. und Serpent racer Joern Neumann in 3rd. After the Semi finals, it was Savoya that lined up on pole position ahead of Mugen team mate Daniel Vega in 2nd and that order stayed unchanged for the entire race with the real battle on for 3rd, which was finally taken by Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin who managed to get passed his brother Yannick in the final minutes. Nach dem Halbfinale war es, dass Savoya reihen sich auf Pole-Position vor Teamkollege MUGEN Daniel Vega im 2. und dieser Reihenfolge blieb unverändert für das ganze Rennen mit der realen Kampf in der 3., der wurde schließlich von Kyosho Fahrer Jerome Aigoin, gelungen, sein Bruder Yannick in den letzten Minuten.

The latest round of the 1/10th scale Buenos Aires Metropolitan Championship took place at Hernan Matticoli track last Sunday, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Die jüngste Runde der Maßstab 1:10 Buenos Aires Metropolitan Meisterschaft fand im Hernan Matticoli Spur am vergangenen Sonntag in Buenos Aires, Argentinien. Sebastián Recio took the pole position followed by his Kyosho team mates Juan Pablo Golobic in 2nd place and Hernán Lebenbaun in 3rd place. Recio Sebastián nahm der Pole-Position, gefolgt von seinem Kyosho Team mates Juan Pablo Golobic in 2. Platz und Hernán Lebenbaun im 3. Rang. The race followed the same pattern as qualifying and in the end the win went to Recio, while Golobic took 2nd with 3rd place going to Hernán Lebenbaun. Das Rennen nach dem gleichen Muster wie Qualifying und am Ende der Sieg ging an Recio, während Golobic hat 2. mit 3. Platz geht an Hernán Lebenbaun.

On April 22nd, ROAR President Dawn Sanchez met with manufacturer representatives and Fuel Off-road Committee members in attendance at this year’s Truck Nationals held at The Nitro Pit in Phoenix, Arizona.
