Marco Natale para usar os motores da raposa de RC Categories - DiMonaco, Gas, Off Road, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
DiMonaco anunciou que assinaram o campeão novo Marco Natale do buggy do F2 de 2007 italianos para usar seus motores da raposa de RC para o descanso da estação. Marco, que tinha usado os motores do RB por os últimos 5 anos primeiros como um privateer e então com sustentação do RB Italy, usará o motor YZ5 brandnew em seu chassi de Hobao como aponta defender seu título.

Kolff e Keur fazem exame de títulos europeus Categories - Gas, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Este fim de semana viu um outro Championship europeu que está sendo funcionado assim como 1/8th Championships do buggy da escala em Crete, com a 1/8th escala 40+ e títulos europeus de 235mm também acima para garras. Hospedado pela trilha do MACH em Heemstede, os Países Baixos, este evento têm um vibe relaxado contudo a ação na trilha era muito séria. Qualificar ocorreu em sexta-feira e em sábado e na classe 40+ era o racer alemão Andreas Giesa que fêz exame da posição do pólo do racer local Richard Keur de Mugen no 2a com carneiro de Jacky e em Rody Roem que termina os 4 superiores, ambos da serpente para a serpente. Na classe de 235mm era racer o hondt do Robin D europeu anterior belga superior' que fêz exame de honras qualificando do alto na frente do campeão Julius Kolff no 2o, dirigindo um carro hybrid novo da serpente, quando os últimos anos Champion 3ns começado Beal de Glyn antes de o desenhador Rene Cornella da serpente que faz exame da última posição qualificando direta no 4o.

Savoya é campeão de 2008 europeus Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
O racer francês Renaud Savoya de Mugen tampou fora de um desempenho dominante nos Championships europeus em Crete fazendo exame do título europeu antes de o campeão anterior Robert Batlle. O excitador espanhol tinha feito exame da ligação cedo na raça e tinha retirado uma ligação considerável, mas um braço traseiro quebrado com os 15 minutos a ir significou que Savoya poderia voltar na parte atrasada da raça, e faz exame da ligação do excitador aleijado de Hobao com o justo sobre 10 minutos para ir, e nunca olhou para trás. Batlle terminou a raça no 2a, only alguns segundos atrás, quando HongNor novo que assina Richi Gomez de Spain arredondou para fora os 3 superiores.

Defending European Champion Robert Batlle has won the second of the Semi Finals here at a very very hot Iraklion Model Centre track. The Spaniard completed the same number of laps as Semi A winner Savoya and managed a faster lap time but was almost 30 second off the pace of the Frenchman who has looked so in control throughout the 5 days of this championships.

The first semi final of the 2008 EFRA European Championship has just taken place and Top Qualifier Renaud Savoya made the 20 minute encounter look like just a formality ahead of the main job in hand, winning the Main Final which gets underway here in Crete at 16:00 local time. Savoya made little or no mistakes during the race and lead from start to finish setting the fastest lap on the way to a 1 lap winning margin over Associated driver Neil Cragg who’s best lap was 7/10th off that of the French Champion. ‘The run was fine and I will stick with the same set-up for the final’, said the very confident Mugen driver. ‘The track is getting tricky over the jumps and there are now holes at the end of the straight which is making my car jump around a lot but its ok.’

Batlle TQ’s final Heat in Greece Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Defending European Champion Robert Batlle has just TQ’d the fifth and final heat doing so in style by setting the fastest 5 minute run of the championships. The Hobao/Ultimate Racing driver tried a radial shock set-up for the heat and the Spaniard was very pleased with the result and will stick this for his Semi Final. Second fastest, but some 6 seconds off Batlle’s blistering pace, was fellow countryman and Bergonzoni driver Raul Peris. The Spaniard appears to have found a good set-up on the prototype R1 chassis and the result ensures the Italian made car will be represented in tomorrow’s Semi Finals.

TQ Savoya ups pace in Greece Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Renaud Savoya may have TQ’d the 2008 EFRA European 1:8 Off Road Championships already with his three heat wins yesterday but the French driver is not throttling back and this morning set the fastest 5 minute run of the event so far with just one qualifier left to run. The current lap record holder for a 5 minute run here in Crete which he set during the Warm Up race earlier this year, the Mugen driver could knocked 2 seconds of his best run but was still 2 seconds shy of his record.

Renaud Savoya TQ’s 2008 Euros Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
French Champion Renaud Savoya has TQ’d the 2008 EFRA European 1:8 Off Road Championships in Crete after making the opening three heats his own, setting the fastest times in each of the runs. The Warm-up Race winner has his Mugen dialed in perfectly with many of his rivals commenting on how well it slides around the corners as most of them struggle with grip roll around the bumpy track.
