Kyosho Europe have been in contact to tell us about this years Kyosho Masters, a unique event that has been running since 1999. Kyosho Europe ont été en contact à nous faire cette année Kyosho Masters, un événement unique en son genre qui fonctionne depuis 1999. This year, the 10th Anniversary, will take place at Sucy-en-Brie near Paris from June 19th to 22nd, and will be open to the usual 3 classes - Elite, Expert and League, plus the ever growing Truggy class. Cette année, le 10e anniversaire, aura lieu à Sucy-en-Brie, près de Paris du 19 au Juin 22, et sera ouvert au cours d'habitude 3 - Elite, d'experts et de la Ligue, ainsi que la croissance Truggy classe. Saturday evening’s drivers banquet will see live band, Endless Shiver, play, while the Japanese company will also be showing off the brand new Inferno MP9 1/8th scale buggy. Samedi soir, les pilotes banquet voir live band, Endless Shiver, jouer, tandis que la société japonaise sera également exhibant le tout nouveau Inferno MP9 1/8th échelle buggy. Attending the event will be World Champion Mark Pavidis as well as other previous World and European Champions. Scotty Ernst was in touch to tell us that the entry for this years International Indoor Championships (IIC) is now open. Scotty Ernst a été en contact pour nous dire que l'entrée pour cette année internationale en salle (SII) est maintenant ouverte. This years event will be back on the Las Vegas strip, held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, which is located very close to where the old Stardust hotel was and allows access to all that Las Vegas has to offer. Cette année, sera de retour sur Las Vegas Strip, tenue à la Riviera Hotel and Casino, qui est situé très près de l'endroit où l'ancien hôtel de Stardust était et permet d'accéder à tous de ce que Las Vegas a à offrir. The new venue will take us back to the style that the inaugural IIC had with an intimate ballroom and great feeling. The classes for the 2008 IIC will be slightly different from the previous events and the organisers are very proud to announce that the IIC will be a 100% brushless event. Entrants may compete in a maximum of three classes, of those three classes a maximum of two touring classes will be permitted. To run three classes one must be 1/12 scale (World GT is being counted as a touring class). Pour exécuter trois catégories doit être un 1 / 12 échelle (GT monde est considéré comme une classe tourisme).

FAMAR and AAPARTT, the Argentinian National RC Federation, has selected AARBA (Asociación de Automodelismo Radiocontrolado de Buenos Aires) to run the first Americas Championships. Famar et AAPARTT, l'Argentin RC Fédération nationale, a choisi AARBA (Asociación de Automodelismo Radiocontrolado de Buenos Aires) à courir le premier Championnat Amériques. This event will take place at the ‘Hernan Matticoli’ circuit on November 6th to 9th 2008 and is open to 1/8 and 1/10 on road categories. Cet événement aura lieu au 'Hernan Matticoli circuit sur Novembre 6e à 9e 2008 et est ouvert à 1 / 8 et 1 / 10 sur les catégories de routes. The organisers are looking forward to have the attendance of racers in both categories and from different countries and claim that this event will be a similar international experience like last years 1/8th scale World Championships, which also took place in Argentina. Les organisateurs se réjouissent d'avoir la participation de coureurs dans les deux catégories et de différents pays et demande que cet événement sera une expérience similaire sur le plan international comme dernières années 1/8th échelle Championnats du monde, qui ont également eu lieu en Argentine.

Renaud Savoya wins Greece EFRA GP Renaud Savoya Grèce remporte le GP EFRA Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The EFRA GP in Greece for 1/8th scale buggies was held this weekend on the same track that will host this Summer’s European Championships. Le GP EFRA en Grèce pour poussettes 1/8th échelle a eu lieu ce week-end sur la même piste qui accueillera cet été les Championnats d'Europe. All the top European names were present, as well as current World Champion Mark Pavidis from the USA, who made the trip over to compete at the event. Tous les noms européens de haut niveau étaient présents, ainsi que les champion du monde Mark Pavidis des États-Unis, qui fait le voyage à participer à l'événement. Qualifying saw the TQ go to Losi racer Yannick Aigoin, ahead of Mugen driver Renaud Savoya in 2nd and Serpent racer Joern Neumann in 3rd. A vu la qualification TQ aller à Losi coureur Yannick Aigoin, avant de Mugen conducteur Renaud Savoya en 2e et Serpent coureur Joern Neumann en 3e. After the Semi finals, it was Savoya that lined up on pole position ahead of Mugen team mate Daniel Vega in 2nd and that order stayed unchanged for the entire race with the real battle on for 3rd, which was finally taken by Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin who managed to get passed his brother Yannick in the final minutes. Après la demi-finale, il a été Savoya que aligné sur pôle position devant l'Mugen coéquipier Daniel Vega en 2e et cet ordre est resté inchangé pendant toute la course avec la vraie bataille sur la 3ème, qui a finalement été prise par Jérôme Kyosho conducteur qui Aigoin réussi à obtenir adopté son frère Yannick dans les dernières minutes.

The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series, which sees its final round of the 07/08 series take place in Andernach Germany, have confirmed that US superstar racer Paul LeMieux will be coming to round 4 on the 27th - 29th of June. Les organisateurs de la plus grande partie soutenu européen de tourisme de série, qui voit sa dernière ronde de la série 07.08 lieu Andernach en Allemagne, ont confirmé que les États-Unis superstar coureur Paul Lemieux seront à venir ronde 4 le 27 - 29 Juin. Paul is looking forward to travelling to Europe to race against the some of the top drivers in the World, in order to help him prepare for the up coming World Championships later this year in Thailand. Paul est impatient de se rendre en Europe pour la course contre quelques-uns des meilleurs pilotes du monde, afin de l'aider à se préparer à la place des Championnats du monde à venir plus tard cette année en Thaïlande. Ultimate Racing were in touch to tell us about their teaming up with ‘Pilotos sin Fronteras’ to organise the first Ultimate World Cup 08, which is an international race for 1/8th Rally Game. Ultimate Racing ont été en contact à nous parler de leur équipe avec des Pilotos sin Fronteras »pour organiser la première Coupe du monde Ultimate 08, qui est une course internationale pour 1/8th Rally Game. The race will be held near Barcelona at the Rubi’s radio control club truck from 29th May to 1st June and many international drivers from different nationalities like Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain will attend this fantastic event. La course se tiendra près de Barcelone au Rubi's Club de radio camion du 29 Mai au 1er Juin et de nombreux conducteurs de différentes nationalités comme l'Allemagne, l'Italie, le Portugal et l'Espagne participera à cette événement fantastique. Top international drivers from this category like Fabio Boero, Michelle Baruzzi, Marc Ibars, Robert Batlle among others will compete along with other drivers with less experience in an international competition. The European ‘B’ Championships for 1/10th scale 200mm took place last week at the beautiful Ampuis track in France. Le Conseil européen «B» pour les Championnats 200mm échelle de 1/10e a eu lieu la semaine dernière à Ampuis la belle piste en France. After some rain in the practice days, qualifying got underway and it was French racer Michael Derderian, driving a Serpent, that claimed pole position from Italian Team Magic racer Mario Spiniello in 2nd followed by the Xray pairing of Thomas Eytard and Guido Barbera. Après quelques pluies dans la pratique jours, a obtenu de qualification en cours et il a été coureur français Michael Derderian, la conduite d'un serpent, qui a coûté pole position de l'italien Team Magic coureur Mario Spiniello en 2ème suivie par le Xray liaison de Thomas Eytard et Guido Barbera. The start of the main final saw Mario Spinello jump straight into the lead, but dropped back after some issues. Le début de la finale a vu Mario Spinello Aller directement en tête, mais elle a chuté de retour après quelques questions. Thomas Eyard was fastest in the final and set a new track record, but after serious interference problems his chances for the title disappeared, while around the same time that Xray driver Dirk Wischnewski was hit by another car, losing him 1 lap on the leader. Our mates at Neo Buggy were at last weekends Pro Line event in the UK, which saw the finals run on the bank holiday Monday. Nos compagnons à Neo Buggy étaient au dernier week-end Pro Line cas au Royaume-Uni, qui a vu la finale courir le jour férié lundi. Qualifying saw Ryan Maifield take the buggy TQ ahead of Associated team mate Neil Cragg and Hobao racer Graham Alsop 3rd fastest. Qualifications vu Ryan Maifield prendre le buggy CT avant de l'Associated coéquipier Neil Cragg et Hobao coureur Graham Alsop 3ème plus rapide. The Buggy final saw Maifield open up a lead only for Linus Thern and Elliot Boots to catch, before both drivers ran out of fuel, which left Alsop chasing Maifield. Le Buggy Maifield finale a vu s'ouvrir un plomb que pour Linus Thern et Elliot Bottes à attraper, avant les deux conducteurs a manqué de carburant, qui a quitté la chasse Maifield Alsop. Maifield then flamed out just as he as fuelling and so Alsop could open a small gap which he held until the 41st minute. Maifield alors éteint tout comme il alimente comme Alsop et pourrait ouvrir un petit écart qu'il a occupé jusqu'à la 41e minute. Maifield then took over at the front, while a hard charging Jared Tebo closed in on the leader but it was too late and Maifield crossed the finish line first with Tebo in 2nd and Alsop 3rd. Maifield a ensuite pris en charge à l'avant, tout en un disque de charge Jared Tebo fermé sur le leader, mais il était trop tard et Maifield franchi la ligne d'arrivée d'abord avec Tebo en 2e et Alsop 3rd. The truggy final, which was made up of all 12 drivers that entered the class, saw Alsop take the lead, but his engine was very rich and he eventually flamed out leaving Joern Neumann and Linus Thern to fight it out.
