Robert Pietsch wins Spanish EFRA GP Robert Pietsch espanhol vence GP EFRA Categories - Events, Gas, On Road, International, Racing - 2 comments
German Sheperd Velox driver Robert Pietsch has claimed victory at this weekends Spanish EFRA GP at the Valencia track, host of this years European Championships. Alemão Sheperd Velox motorista Robert Pietsch tem reclamado vitória nessa semana espanhola EFRA GP no Valencia pista, anfitrião do Campeonato Europeu deste ano. Starting from the pole position Pietsch took the early lead and was followed closely by team mate Daniel Ielasi, who started 2nd, and Mugen driver Andrea Pirani. Partindo da pole position Pietsch teve início o chumbo e foi seguido de perto pela equipe mate Daniel Ielasi, que começou 2o, e Mugen driver Andrea Pirani. When Ielasi ran into problems about 2/3rds of the way into the race, Pirani took over 2nd with Alberto Picco moving into 3rd. Quando Ielasi decorreu em problemas 2/3rds acerca da forma em relação à raça, Pirani assumiu 2o com Alberto Picco movendo em 3o. This was how it finished with Pietsch taking the win, 8 seconds in front of Pirani with Picco ending the race in 3rd, a lap behind the leaders. We have been contacted by the organisers of this Summer’s Much More UK GP, run in Stonehaven, Scotland,which is shaping up to be a great event. We received an update from Valencia Spain, where the Euros warm up event is taking place for 1/8th scale on road and after qualifying it was current German National Champion Robert Pietsch on pole position followed by Shepherd Velox team mate Daniele Ielasi in 2nd. Recebemos uma actualização de Valencia Espanha, onde a Euros aquecer o evento tem lugar para 1/8th escala na estrada e depois qualificando-se actual Campeão Nacional alemão Robert Pietsch na pole position seguido por Shepherd Velox equipa Daniele Ielasi no 2o. Robert was the only driver to make 18 laps and behind him it was very close with fuel consumption being a big problem for many drivers. Robert foi o único piloto a fazer 18 voltas e por trás dele era muito estreita com o consumo de combustível a ser um grande problema para muitos motoristas. The track conditions so far have been very good, with only some light rain drops falling during qualifying but not enough to disturb the racers. Renaud Savoya wins Lyon EFRA GP Renaud Savoya Lyon vence GP EFRA Categories - Events, Off Road, International, Racing - add a comment
The French EFRA GP for 1/8th scale buggies was run this weekend in St Exupery in the Lyon region. O francês GP EFRA para 1/8th escala buggies foi executado este fim de semana em St Exupery no Lyon região. After qualifying it was Losi driver Yannick Aigoin that claimed the top qualifier spot but after the semi final it was Mugen driver Renaud Savoya that line up on pole position for the main final. Após qualificar-se Losi condutor Yannick Aigoin que reivindicavam o topo qualificador local, mas após a semi final foi Mugen condutor Renaud Savoya que line up na pole position para a final principal. Savoya eventually won the 45 minute by a few seconds in front of Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin with Spanish driver Borja Hernandez almost a lap further back. Savoya finalmente venceu os 45 minutos por alguns segundos na frente do motorista Kyosho Jerome Aigoin com condutor espanhol Borja Hernandez quase uma volta mais para trás.

ETS Round 4 in Austria Cancelled ETS Round 4 na Áustria Cancelado Categories - ETS, Events, On Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The organisers of the Much More backed European Touring Series have informed us that their 4th round, which was due to take place in Vienna Austria on the 9th - 11th of May, has had to be cancelled. Os organizadores do Grande Mais apoiado Europeia Touring Series informaram-nos que a sua 4a rodada, que foi devido a ter lugar em Viena Áustria no dia 9 - 11 de Maio, teve de ser cancelado. Due to conflicts with other events on the same weekend in Austria, the host club were unable to hold this event on the same weekend and due to busy schedules there are no other options to move this round to another date. Devido a conflitos com outros eventos na mesma semana na Áustria, o clube anfitrião não foram capazes de realizar este evento na mesma semana e, devido à ocupado horários não existem outras opções para passar esta fase para outra data. The plan is to race in Austria for the 2008-2009 series so the ETS will be happening in Vienna at some stage. O plano é a corrida na Áustria para a série 2008-2009 assim o STE vai estar acontecendo em Viena a certa altura.
This weekends round 3 in the Netherlands is going ahead as usual and is looking to be a great race with some super quick drivers present and most importantly the weather is looking like it will be dry. Esta semana round 3 na Holanda está a avançar normalmente e está olhando para ser uma grande corrida com alguns drivers presentes super rápido e mais importante que o tempo está a estudar como será seco. The MACH track will be open all day Friday for practice, while for those racers that cant take time off on Friday and want to still race at this event, Saturday morning there is 2 more practice rounds before qualifying begins. O MACH pista estará aberta durante todo o dia de sexta prática, enquanto para aqueles pilotos que cant ter tempo livre na sexta-feira e deseja ainda corrida neste caso, sábados manhã há mais 2 rodadas prática antes qualificação começa. The control tyre has also been confirmed for this weekends race and it will be Much More Sweep 32 tyres with Sweep Pink insert mounted on Sweep Rims. O controle pneu também foi confirmado para esta semana corrida e será muito mais Sweep 32 pneus com Sweep Pink inserir montado em Sweep Rims.

The 2008 1/12th scale European Championships was run by the Speed League Racing club this weekend in Ingelstadt, Germany. With just less than 100 racers signed in for the event, there was some quality drivers in the field and early on it looked like Marc Rheinard, using the Hot Bodies Cyclone 12, was the man to beat and he duly took the pole position in qualifying in front of fellow HB driver Ronald Volker, with Simo Ahoniemi rounding out the top 3. In the finals it was easy for Marc, winning the first 2 finals to take the overall with one leg to spare, while the 2nd spot went to last years Champion Andy Moore who battled from a 5th place grid spot to take the win in leg 3 and the runner up spot. The final step on the podium went to another Cyclone 12, that of current 1/10th European Champion Ronald Volker, while Hupo Hönigl and Alexander Hagberg rounding out the top 5. Germany wins in battle against Holland Alemanha vence na batalha contra a Holanda Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
Last weekend at the Purmerend artificial surface track in the Netherlands was the revenge race of the Germany versus Holland event, that last year was taken by Holland. Na semana passada, no Purmerend superfície artificial faixa na Holanda foi a vingança corrida da Alemanha versus Holland evento, que no ano passado foi tomada pela Holanda. This years race was held under changing weather and some good drivers from both countries were in attendance to battle for their country’s pride. Este ano corrida foi realizada sob condições meteorológicas e mudando alguns bons condutores de ambos os países estivessem em atendimento a batalha para o seu país de orgulho. The race saw some close fights throughout the field but in the end it was Daniel Reckward that took the win, followed closely by Tim Bremicker in 2nd while 3rd spot went to Marcell Guske and these positions were enough to give the win for Germany. A corrida viu fechar algumas lutas em todo o campo, mas no final ficou Daniel Reckward que tomou a ganhar, seguido de perto por Tim Bremicker no 2 º enquanto 3o lugar foi para Marcell Guske e estas posições foram suficientes para dar a vitória para a Alemanha.
