The fourth round of the German 1/10th 200mm Championship took place in Nürnberg last weekend and in qualifying it was Xray NT1 racer Thomas Günsel that took the TQ, also setting a new lap record. A quarta rodada do Campeonato Alemão 1/10th 200 milímetros teve lugar na semana passada Nürnberg e na qualificação, foi Xray NT1 racer Thomas Günsel que tomou a CP, também estabelecendo um novo recorde voltas. At the start of the final, pole man Günsel and his team mate Dirk Wischnewski both had engine problems forcing Dirk to retire and dropping Thomas back to 5th, 2 laps down on early leader Michalel Heinrich. Thomas managed to catch the leader and with 7 minutes to go, took the lead and with it the win, finishing with Heinrich in 2nd and Christoph Pietsch in 3rd. Thomas conseguiu capturar o líder e com 7 minutos para percorrer, tomou a dianteira e com ele a ganhar, com acabamento em Heinrich Christoph 2o e 3o, em Pietsch.

This year’s ROAR Gas Truck National Championship was held at the world-famous Nitro Pit facility just outside of Phoenix, AZ. We received a brief report from Motonica on last weekend’s first Austrian Championship race that was held at the Kirchberg track, host of this years European 1/8th ‘B’ Championships. The 2008 Australian Gas off road Nationals were held last weekend in Maryborough near Melbourne, in the south of the country. The first round of the Austrian Electric Touring car Nationals were held recently at the RMC track in Vienna. The opening round of the Italian 1/8th scale buggy Nationals took place last weekend at the Valley Sporting Club track in Alberobello and after the semi finals it was Losi driver Riccardo Rabitti that lined up on the pole position ahead of Crono team driver Davide Tortorici. A rodada de abertura do italiano 1/8th escala buggy Nationals teve lugar a semana passada em Vale do Sporting Clube Alberobello na pista, e após as meias-finais, foi Losi condutor Riccardo Rabitti que alinhados com a pole position à frente da equipe Crono condutor Davide Tortorici. In the final however, despite setting the fastest lap times, Rabitti could only manage 3rd position, only 1 second behind runner up Fabio Boero racing a Mugen, while the race win went to Tortorici, who managed to bring his Crono RS7 home over a lap in front. No final porém, apesar de fixação da volta mais rápida vezes, Rabitti só poderia gerenciar 3a posição, a apenas 1 segundo para trás runner-se uma corrida Fabio Boero Mugen, enquanto que a corrida passou a ganhar Tortorici, que conseguiu trazer Crono RS7 sua casa durante um lap na frente.

Round 2 of the BRCA British 1/8th scale circuit National Championships took place at the Halifax track last weekend. Round 2 do BRCA britânico 1/8th escala circuito Campeonato Nacional teve lugar no Halifax pista último fim de semana. Qualifying, which was run on a damp track, saw Serpent driver Mark Green claim the pole position in front of team mate Tim Wood in 2nd and Mugen racer Andy North 3rd.
