Andy Moore takes Rd1 at BIWS Categories - Electric, National, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Current World Champion Andy Moore took victory in the first round of the British Indoor Winter Series held at Don Valley. Driving his Hot Bodies Cyclone in the modified class he finished ahead of team mate Jonathon Bowden with Ben Cosgrove in third. Ben who was making his debut with the Xray T2007 also took victory in the 19T class.

Sam Cheng wins Singapore Open Categories - Gas, Xray, Off Road, National, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Top Singaporean driver, and all round nice guy, Sam Cheng has taken top honours at the Singapore Open Championships driving his Xray XB8 ahead of team mate Glenn Phuah with young driver Ah M in third. Sam is an experienced International driver in on-road racing too and a real RC enthusiast as well as being distributor for many brands in his home country.
Towards the end of the finale, somehow luck was with Sam that allowed him to pull away a little ahead that put him ONE lap ahead and took away the A Main 1st trophy!

Jernej Vuga & Nejc Duh take Slovenian Nats Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing, Drivers - comments closedMyTSN.com is reporting on the success of the Serpent team in Slovenia with the Dutch manufacturer taking both the 1/8th and 1/10th title with Jernej Vuga and Nejc Duh respectively. In his own country Jernej has pretty much had it all his own way, winning with ease at most events, thanks to his in no small part to his driving skills but also because of his vast International racing experience.

Todd Hodge wins the ROAR Region 12s Categories - Electric, On Road, National, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
Team Orion are carrying an report on their site about their team driver Todd Hodge who recently won the ROAR Region 12 on-road championships. The event was held at the Ripon R/C Raceway in California and Todd, driving his Orion powered Losi JRXS-R, dominated the event.
Using the latest Team Orion motor and battery technology, Todd Hodge set the fastest qualifying time on his way to winning the ROAR Region 12 On-Road Championships at the Ripon R/C Raceway in Ripon, California. The victory was decisive. In addition to setting the fastest single lap time of the event, Todd was the only driver to turn 23 laps in qualifying, and won the main event by nearly a lap!

Rémy Puyrajoux and B-A Arnaldi are 2006 French Champions Categories - Gas, On Road, National, Racing, Drivers - comments closed
French site RC driver have reported (in french) on the conclusion of the 2006 French National Championships in which Rémy Puyrajoux, driving a JP powered Mugen MRX4, won the ‘B’ title and B-A Arnaldi driving his Picco powered Kyosho Evolva took the Elite title.

Xray win the 2006 Curitibano Championship Categories - Xray, Electric, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Xray have a report on the Curitibano Championship in Brazil in which Fabiano Franco driving his Xray T2 won the Championship.
XRAY TEAM BRASIL was very satisfied with this season. This round was full of XRAY T2 cars. In the TOP eight, 4 drivers were using the XRAY T2 chassis and 1 driver was using FK’05. FS MODELSPORT was very proud to see that and to announce that XRAY T2 was the champion of Modified Class.

Cabezas wins EFRA GP & Spanish Nats Categories - On Road, Gas, National, International, Racing, Drivers - comments closed‘Serpent Driver Development’ team member Oscar Cabezas took victory in the EFRA Spanish GP at Elche over the weekend and with it the Spanish 1:8 National Championship title.
Qualifying on the front row of the grid, the 19-year-old got away from the line perfectly getting the jump on pole sitter Sergio Montesinos. Once in front Cabezas took control of the race and at the 15 minute stage had a commanding 1 lap advantage over second.
Maintaining his lead Cabezas took his Mega MF powered Serpent 960 to a superb victory and his second EFRA Spanish GP win.

Ralph Burch wins ROAR Nats Categories - Events, Gas, On Road, National, Racing - comments closed
Mike Myers over at Starting Grid has a nice daily report of the ROAR 1/8 On-Road Nationals in which Ralph Burch from RC America TQ’d and won the event with his Max powered Kyosho Evolva. In fact it was a very good event for the Japanese company getting 6 into the main final and Kyosho America Vice President Joel Johnson rounding off the podium with 3rd position.
