Yaniv Sivan neemt de Liga van Israël Rd5 Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - add a comment
Het vorige weekend zag race nummer 5 in de Israëlische Liga, die bij de Hete Wielen plaatsvindt rennend spoor in het Noorden van Israël. Het weer was fantastisch en het was Yaniv Sivan die TQ voor Nir Sivan en Adir Zvoloni nam. De definitieve zaag en de opwindende race als Yaniv Sivan verloren zijn eerste positie inzake het eerste overlapping dalen aan zevende en moetend een grote terugkeer op de rest van het gebied maken. Yaniv Levi nam het lood na de problemen van Yaniv en werd achtervolgd hard door Nir Sivan en Dotan Halevi. 10 mintues in het ras Dotan namen het lood, al tijdje dat door Yaniv Sivan wordt gesloten die in dit stadium in vierde was. Toen Yaniv Levi koppelingsproblemen had en moest ophouden met, kon Yaniv Sivan zijn manier aan tweede tot maken en sloot het hiaat op de leider Dotan Halevi. Bij het laatste kuileinde Dotan kwam Halevi uit uit de kuilsteeg en had uit een vlam en ondanks een snel nieuw begin, kon Yaniv Sivan het lood nemen. Voor de laatste 7 minuten, probeerde Dotan om het hiaat te sluiten maar won Yaniv Sivan aan het eind de race die door Dotan Halevi met Nir Sivan in derde wordt gevolgd.

Raphael Robert wint Belgische Nats Rd2 Categories - Gas, Off Road, National, Racing - add a comment
De tweede ronde van het Belgische 1/8ste schaal Nationale Kampioenschap Met fouten werd gehouden bij het spoor MBRC in Charleroi vorig weekend. Kwalificerend de bestuurdersRaphael Robert van zaagHobao neemt de hoogste het kwalificeren vlek voor Losi in paren rangschikkend Jerome Renaux in tweede en Sebastian Wartelle in derde. Raphael won ook zijn semi def. zou opstellen op poolpositie voor minieme belangrijkste def. 30, waarin hij van begin om leidde te eindigen, om te nemen wint door 2 overlappingen van de bestuurder Guy DE Weerd in tweede en Mugen Nickell Cédric racer van Losi in derde.

De Ingezetenen van Oswestry rapporteren door oOple Categories - Electric, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
Jimmy bij oOple heeft een rapport over de tweede ronde van Nationale de 1/10th BRCA van wegreeks die in Oswestry wordt gehouden, dat de zaag Ellis Stafford en XFactory TQ in 2WD neemt en in zowel 2WD als 4WD klassen win. Ellis used the XFactory X6 and X5 squared buggies to take victory - the first for the X6 at UK National level. The battle in both classes was mostly dominated by the same three drivers - Ellis Stafford, Chris Doughty (AE / Atomic Carbon) & Lee Martin (AE).

2008 Kyosho Masters - Announcement Categories - Events, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed 
Kyosho Europe have been in contact to tell us about this years Kyosho Masters, a unique event that has been running since 1999. This year, the 10th Anniversary, will take place at Sucy-en-Brie near Paris from June 19th to 22nd, and will be open to the usual 3 classes - Elite, Expert and League, plus the ever growing Truggy class. Saturday evening’s drivers banquet will see live band, Endless Shiver, play, while the Japanese company will also be showing off the brand new Inferno MP9 1/8th scale buggy. Attending the event will be World Champion Mark Pavidis as well as other previous World and European Champions.

Adam Drake dominates SoCal SS Rd2 Categories - Gas, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
We received a brief update from last weekends SoCal Saturday Series that was held at the Hemet Race Park track. Team Losi racer, and winner of round 1, Adam Drake took the TQ in the Pro Buggy class and went on to win ahead of Losi team mate Matt Castellano in 2nd and Kyosho’s Cody King in 3rd. The Drake also took the TQ and win in the Pro Truck class, giving him a perfect score so far in this years series.

ROAR Region 4 Championships Categories - Events, Electric, Off Road, Racing - comments closed
We received a report from Paul Wynn on this year’s ROAR Region 4 Championship that was hosted by the Coral Springs R/C Car Club. This is one of the premier tracks/clubs in the state of Florida and they put on a fantastic show. There were 94 entries between the 5 classes.

Renaud Savoya wins Greece EFRA GP Categories - Gas, Off Road, International, Racing - comments closed
The EFRA GP in Greece for 1/8th scale buggies was held this weekend on the same track that will host this Summer’s European Championships. All the top European names were present, as well as current World Champion Mark Pavidis from the USA, who made the trip over to compete at the event. Qualifying saw the TQ go to Losi racer Yannick Aigoin, ahead of Mugen driver Renaud Savoya in 2nd and Serpent racer Joern Neumann in 3rd. After the Semi finals, it was Savoya that lined up on pole position ahead of Mugen team mate Daniel Vega in 2nd and that order stayed unchanged for the entire race with the real battle on for 3rd, which was finally taken by Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin who managed to get passed his brother Yannick in the final minutes.

Danish Off-Road Nationals Rd1 Categories - Electric, Off Road, National, Racing - comments closed 
The 1st round of the 2008 Danish Off-Road DRCMU championship was run last weekend by the Odense RC Minirace Club, who have put new carpet on the track providing lots of grip, while a new double jump was build for this event.
